I don't think that will work but if you try braiding it till the end and putting it in the water it may work

So you want to look a hot mess. Ok? The point of having boho knotless braids is the curls. Why would you get this style if you don’t want the curls?!? I’m confused…

Depends of what you want the curls to look like . It has a different curl pattern with thread plus it's prone to frizz but you can still use it

Well you still need a binding agent to smoothing it and reduce frizz . Maybe a light gel will do but I've only ever used mousse
