These guys were absolutely brilliant there songs have stood the test of time they by rights should have been bigger than they were. Marc was an awesome front man, Todd the anchor and one of the best bass players I have ever heard, keys guitar drums the perfect blend, still my favorite band.

Back in my early military days in '86, our course had to spend every Thursday night cleaning our barrack block, and we always did our cleaning to the Live 1 tape playing on my stereo. From outside,all you could hear was about 20 guys screaming "..if you go out in the rain.." Good times.
Like the Stones guitarists they look like Shakespearean guards or soldiers. Taylor achieves the same positioning as Richards and Wyman and the blatant sexual thrust of Jones with a bit more control
The Dragon guy were very tall, about 6ft 4 + even without platform boots for extra intimidation. In a lot of great bands there is the extra dimension of the tall guitarists who look like sentries straight out of every military since the Romans. Just think of Keith and Wyman in the stones. All the greatest NZ bands were close to being alcoholic and druggie derelicts even at the time they first recorded let alone by the time they first performed in LA. Check out Hello Sailor's 'Tears of Blood' or HLAH, 'Comfortably Shagged' those tracks should have been US, No 1s @@TheDarkstar333

Love this band and this line up.... they gave us some great songs. However, and this may seem a small detail, it's never a good idea to demand reaction from an audience ,as Marc( RIP) did here by saying "C'mon you guys ..clap!" You never want to seem like you're asking for or demanding approval. Our vocalist used to ask " is everyone having a good time"? Not a good idea!!
