I could, my only concern with H blocks is that if you leave them in place the whole time, you risk loosing a fish if the fish runs into the H block line, and if you remove the Hblock, then you can loose the spot again. But good suggestion and I think a possible solution to all those problems has arrived in the country

What is the cost at that dam and do you know what the average fish weigh in there, I would guess over 7 of 8 kg if it's a specimen dam?

Resting a swim with bait and no rig can be a very effective strategy.... that's if you rest the same spot where you drop your rig...
