the fact that changbin lost is actually absurd and kind of hilarious like.. for the singing, whoever was better is debatable (i do think changbin was still a better vocal, he has a such a beautiful and unique tone) but when it came to the rapping part changbin nailed it with ease. YDG was awkward when he rapped, he lacked precision and put the emphasis on weird parts, while changbin knew exactly how and what to emphasize. this is truly proof of korean mainstream media still barely understands the art of rap and hip hop culture. it's also part of the reason changbin is so so underapprciated. smfh. o k rant over im sorry but changbin deserves more.
I agree 100% with you. Ydg rap sounds a bit awkward (honestly i never would have thought that he's a rapper just by watching this one performance) but it does sound very close to the original song. His personal style seems to be very similar to the original song. Probably because both Ydg and the song are a bit older. Changbins rap style is very unique and when you know the song it may sound weird. But i didn't know the song before so Changbins rap sounded better to me.

changbin's vocal style is too unique to actually be able to hide without changing major components to how he sings. his vocals are so steady, too!!

actually it might be bc changbin is busy with the CB and can’t attend the next round. a lot of idols do this to promote their songs, for example, jooheon from monsta x was on the show right after their new album, fantasia (you should check it out btw igs p fire) but even so i think he should’ve won if my reason is false

the SECOND ydg opened his mouth i knew it was him. he was at a MAJOR advantage with this song choice honestly. but binnie did amazing. i can’t wait to see what the future holds for rapper, producer, AND vocal member changbin.

Still lowkey mad that he lost 16 to 5....he was obviously better at both rapping and singing...and if they already know who the other contestent was (cause' its obvious for all that know a bit about k-rap, his voice and style of rapping is really unique) why vote him through to round 2?...thats not interesting at all, especially for a show where the whole point is guessing the contestant...really disapointed about their need to show respect to an old rapper just because he came to their show and vote out the 'unknown' newbee…...
Or they just prefer the other one's voice. They are a lot of veteran singers in the audience that did not listen to K-pop so yeah

Changbin singing voice is so beautiful, full of colour and very emotional. I wish he was more confident in his abilities and sing more in skz songs. I love his singing voice.
