To clarify, the first Moogs were large modular synthesizers that were not conducive for live performance, due to their size. Musicians wanted something more portable and so Bob Moog (with help from Bill Hemsath and Jim Scott-actually, they spearheaded the project) created the “Minimoog,” which changed popular music. There were four prototypes: Models A-D. As the lecturer says, Ra had a Model B. The Model D is the one that went into production.
