Wow God led me to this one today Pastor Charles. Indeed a great word and and important word and one I needed to hear and many Christians today need to hear. I also enjoyed markiet81's comments who seems to have posted a running commentary while watching but I say AMEN cause I also was 'amening' thru it too. God bless. If you ever see these comments...could you answer how come Israel at the time of Jesus did not expect the ''suffering servant'' but the '' conquering warrior''? I read there was at one time 2 diff versions of belief of who the messiah would be and how come they got stuck with that overriding conception? I mean i know by Jesus's time much of the original teachings had been corrupted by the pharisees and esp in the sermon on the mount Jesus set about to clarify His original Word....just curious. thanks
The Church is Jesus and is built with the core objective to proclaim Jesus is the Saviour/Messiah and the Son of God. The Church contains all the teaching of Jesus. The Church should be built on the rock. The rock is Simon, a man of great faith in Jesus. This is why Jesus called Simon is the Rock.
