We just bought with Ashton Woods. The townhome is actually being built as we speak. We fell in love with the way the place is developing. Moving out of Connecticut is going to be an amazing feeling. Thank you for your videos. You make me feel much better about the move. Now I got to find a job when I get there. lol
Great video makes me feel like I’m doing the right thing by moving to the Orlando area and my kids having a great future with all the new exciting changes
Ive said this a few times, I absolutely LOVE living in Lake Nona but we need more to do besides eating and shopping lol right now we’re still driving to Downtown Winter Garden, Winter Park, and Lake Eola on weekends or after work. Nona needs a bowling alley, an arcade, batting cages, or even a small local theater for shows. Again, it’s a great area with a great feel; there’s just not enough to do if you don’t feel like shopping or eating or if you have teenage kids
@@debbieb9628 that’s how you get long term homeowners and bring in additional small business that help grow the local economy and just get people more invested in the community as a whole. We’ll see how things shake out but that’s been my one gripe with the area, you make Northern Virginia sound heavenly by the way lol
thank you for sharing, im one of the Disney employees that has to relocate from Los Angeles to the Orlando area, Sadly Lake Nona might be out of my price range for a house. Thinking of looking more north off 417
I literally do not get sick of Lake Nona videos. You can do them all day, every day. Quick question: Is there any other Toll Brothers Community that's similar to the homes in Laurel Pointe that I can take a look at online to get a better idea of things?
Hey Ken, Love your videos as they are very entertaining & Informative. Can you do a video about eagle creek? I know it's technically not in Lake Nona but its across the street :) :). Just bought a 3-Story town home there and the community is beautiful/breathtaking and expanding very rapidly. Thank you!
1) Which community is better (in terms of resale value and growth ) summer Dale or Laureate Park or Isles of lake nona? 2) resale value of Townhouse vs Single family house in lake nona? 3) in Summer dale any feature impacts to upcoming Osceola parkway expressway project?
This looks so much like a smaller version of the domain here in Austin, TX. I can totally see why you think this is where they’re headed! Hoping for more tech (for my husband) easy for me as a nurse. Really hoping to relocate to lake Nona soon! How realistic would it be to find a 4+bd for 500-600k in lake Nona?
@@nashtitans09 it’s so hard to tell on video footage. It sounds like it definitely will be when it’s all done! The domain has much more restaurants and shopping than currently in this location.
@@nashtitans09 What year did you live in Austin. Trying to get figure out if my idea that Orlando has the legs to become the next Austin. At least in my mind it makes sense based on the trajectory. Would love to hear your thoughts
Not interested in moving to Florida but you do some of the best videos(dislike videos where the agents just sit and do top 5 reasons x in front of their pc) and are so knowledgeable. Got to get out there and show off your city!
Such different areas! Honestly pretty equal distance to the parks. One allow short-term rentals, one doesn’t. You can get a lot more house in Davenport, but lake nona offers a lot in regards to jobs, higher end real estate, new restaurant concepts, etc.
@@kenpozek that doesn't make sense if they move the jobs to another state they should keep the rate the same. Lake Nonas nice, but still like Celebration a lot better, closer to everything. Lake Nona traffic along Boggy Creek is also horrendous, can’t wait til they widen Boggy Creek, Simpson Roads.
Yeah once you drive on Narcoosse past the 417, the road is 2 lanes and can get pretty backed up. There are no “back roads” to get around it either, Narcoossee is the main road to get north and south (without taking the 417 and paying tolls). Still love it here though
Dude, are you kidding me??? You show a map of Lake Nona and places around it you can live and completely ignore Buena Ventura Lakes, this massive residential area that's closer to Lake Nona than any of the places you mentioned. Do you have something against Puerto Rican neighborhoods? Dude, do better, this is a fantastic place to live and you're practicing discrimination. Come out here and do a video
It was a recap of the quarterly update from the developer of lake nona. The video was 95% non-disney related. But yeah going live to talk about it shortly

Love those Ashton woods townhomes. Amazing styling and location
Was out there today, VA appointment,. Saw the “New Town Center coming soon”.. exciting! 😍
Exciting indeed!
Went to lake nona for the first time last weekend. Aqua park and Bolay for lunch were great. Nice area.
8:18 Hunter creek. Grateful 🙏
Very niceeeee!!!!
Work HVAC 2 years ago came back this year and lake Nona is different from when it started look so much better imagine the next 5 years

Thanks Larry!

Plenty of beautiful homes in the area! Happy to help narrow it down with you

Great info. Thank you for putting the video together. Have you rented out your investment property yet? Currently in the process of relocating 😉

Fantastic neighborhood. Was there showing homes today!
Ken I was hoping you were going to use your street cred to give us a view of lake Nona country club luxury homes
I'd love to live in #LakeNona...even IF Disney is moving there. 😉 🇺🇸
when will the movie theater break ground? also, as of today, what else is being built in the town center other than the hotel?
1) Which community is better (in terms of resale value and growth ) summer Dale or Laureate Park or Isles of lake nona?
2) resale value of Townhouse vs Single family house in lake nona?
3) in Summer dale any feature impacts to upcoming Osceola parkway expressway project?
LP is going to be better value for resale
Single family is always better for resale
Not worried about the parkway. It’ll be a good thing.

That can still be viable
Totally doable sub-600k.
And I’m glad you think so!
I lived in Austin. This is so much larger than the Domain.

Great video mate. But ye' could not pay me to move there.... 😶 Florida weather is death.
Meh. You get used to it after a year. AC everywhere. Winters are amazing

I do a little of that too. Only news related stuff - but I agree! Get out and show off your town! Thanks for watching.
@@kenpozek Yea I mean its fine for some content, but many channels I see that's all it is.
Agreed. Most don’t want to invest in a videographer.
Quick question. Can you customize homes somewhere in Lake Nona, preferably in a gated guarded area?
Semi custom yes. Price point dependent.
How are the surrounding areas of Lake Nona? (price, amenities, schools and etc.)
There’s a lot of great areas around Lake Nona as well! Less expensive with good amenities as well. Happy to help you narrow down that area
Still not sponsored by Foxtail I see 😂
Time to switch back to Starbucks possibly 🤦🏻♂️
Why didn’t you mention Eagle Creek? What are your thoughts on that development?
Gated. No CDD. Good builders. I like it!
I can't make up my mind is either Davenport or lake nona ken 🤦🏻♂️😄
What area of Davenport? My wife and I decided on Champions Gate (which is NOT Davenport by the way) vs. LN and love it!
@@DDDDD760 we stayed at championsgate before I like it we still looking but those are 2 areas we like 👍🏻

Where in Lake Nona is the new disney campus being built?
Hasn’t been formally announced, but my guess would be a little bit farther down Lake Nona Boulevard. Looking for permitting right now ;)
Are there any 55 or better communities in Lake Nona.
village walk and some new apartments by the town center
what are the options for schools in lake nona? Is there a catholic elementary?
They have two new elementary schools in Lake Nona. In the middle and high school. Happy to send you a list of private schools as well
Why isn't Disney forced to hire locals? There is talent here in Orlando that needs a job.
My guess is that many Disney people won’t relocate to Orlando. Which will cause Disney to rehire (at a a lower wage) locally

New extender coming in to Narcoossee. Boggy Creek is getting widened too
They doing it now I was working out there earlier this year and they are widening it not wide enough though need a major redesign
Hope those Californians don't bring their politics which turned their state into a big mess.
This will be a disaster for Lake Nona.... quality of life will plummet
