Wow Sheridan -- such a beautiful video -- the places you filmed are absolutely gorgeous thank you for posting.
Gorgeous vedio love the story within
Took my daughter to Tikal last winter via San Ignacio (Belize). Hired a guide for history and we had an amazing, wonderful time. Glad you could enjoy it too.
Oh what a wonderful trip! Thank thats great you had that experience together, it was very special for Mum and I ❤️⛵️🐾 Stay Chuffed
Let's all leave comments and like as this helps the visibility and views in UA-cam!
hi guys!
. . . . brings back memories of solo 2002 but even more appreciated is that you got to spend the time there with your Mom. Cherish these moments. Thank you for sharing . . . .
Thanks for choose guatemala come back welcome
This video brought back memories! I visited Tikal 20 years ago and still remember climbing those stairs to have a view from above the treetops.
Wow I bet it looked even more rugged then, I love they have kept the jungle feel to it even now!
beautiful scenery but swimming in a dark cave is more than i could handle ! you are very brave.
Another good one. Thanks.
I love your videos, thank you for always taking us with you. You a very blessed with family, health and a wonderful lifestyle, I hope someday to have the freedom to visit the places you go to. I’ve taught my children to live life to the fullest and enjoy everyday, never regretting a thing. God bless
It sounds like you have taught your Children well! I hope the videos keep you Chuffed! Thank you
Very beautiful, I love old history....
Stunning!! I think I'd vote for the pools over the temples, theres just something magical about them.
Thank you ! I am incredibly chuffed after this one:) I am always amazed at what ancient civilisations achieved and Tikal reinforces that. It's going on my bucket list. And Semuc Champey wow beautiful. Mum did really well with all those steps too. Keep living the dream.
Yes thinking about how they achieved building this just blows my mind! And it still stands today! Definitely visit if you get her chance, and Mum was a great travel companion ❤️🐾⛵️
Great video with beautiful scenery! What a great way to spend quality time with your Mom!
I will have to add this to the top of the bucket list now.
Nice work capturing the beauty and mystic of the place Sheddy .
You are getting very good at filming and editing .
Looking forward to next week .
Stay chuffed Doc.
Stunning video Doc... Love the pool best but the temples were amazing too.... Thanks and best from damaged HKG
Amazing place and great footage!
Thank you, it was fun going back and editing it, like reliving the moments!
Thank you to You and Mum for taking us on this adventure, I travel Vicariously through yourselves and others who Sail, to places that I would otherwise never see or experience, and really do appreciate you taking us with you.
sorry to be offtopic but does anybody know a trick to log back into an instagram account..?
I was dumb forgot the account password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
@Avi Creed I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and im trying it out now.
Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Avi Creed It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much, you saved my account :D
It's so awesome that you & your mum get to spend time together exploring & Adventuring like that! I don't know about the water caving deal. Looked alot claustrophobic to me!! I have to believe they get a fair share peps pulling out of that adventure before the finish line. BTW you channel came up in the comment section of Sailing Zingaro latest video. They rescued a sea turtle. very cool ck it out if ya get the chance. Take care.
Oh that's awesome they rescued a sea turtle, will definitely check it out! Another channel also rescued one a few months back! They said around half the people turn back, it was the only adventure mum opted out of! It was awesome sharing the time with her. Stay Chuffed!
That cave adventure -- you are a braver soul than I. Thanks for the great video
Amazing footage.. The power of UA-cam, get to see the world from my place. Thank you :)
wow good video
It's important to spend time with Mom And no less important to say mom I love you Believe me, I did not say that too much I'm always sorry about that, so the message for today is to say that you love , Nice video thanks
That’s very true and great advice, I feel very lucky I could spend so much time with Mum and have such an amazing experience with her!
More terrific things to look at,I think I prefer those really pretty pools ,but the temples are interesting.
I haven't learned to differentiate between your voice, and your mum's,that's hard, haha.🤔Those stairs will keep you fit for sure.
See you next time, and stay, yes, you know,"chuffed"☺️
Hehe we look a lot a like too! Mum was very chuffed because a lot of the Guatemalans thought we were sisters 😉
Yes,agreed,I can certainly see the similarities. She would be happy about being mistaken for your sister, you not so much maybe, hehehe. You're not too easily offended though are you, you'd be a good sport😊
Very interesting history I did not know about the sacrifices wow
No doubt. That's one civilization where ya definitely do not want to be your dads favorite son!! Eee~Yicks. Ha! ;)
It was really interesting to see it all... pretty awe inspiring actually! And ues definitely being the favourite is not the best here hehe

Holy cow! Those structures are incredible! I think the archeologists came up with some crazy explanations for those big steps though. I stopped trusting their explanations decades ago when I discovered all of the giant skulls that have been sent to the Smithsonian Museum, discovered all over North America and even on the Island of Catalina, have all gone missing. I would love to know the true history of Guatemala and find out just how old these stone temples, or healing chambers for ogone concentration, are. You can be sure, if these were effective for healing, that we would never hear about it. Cheers!
@@VetTails Meant to write "orgone concentration". I'm so glad to hear your response. Wilhelm Reich built the orgone concentrators back in the 30's and you can still buy them. Stone mounds of America may have been orgone concentrators. And we've got Dr. Sam Yovanovich and the Bosnia Pyramid where miraculous healing takes place for many who venture there for cures. As for giants, If ya ever get bored just google some of the research there. grahamhancock.com/vieiranewman1/ Cheers!
Perhaps the big steps were built by a giant race of people??
Another superb video👍
With all those stairs I'm surprised they don't offer you an option to zipline back down in a few stages... you and Mom are awesome ! Glad to see they haven't had to add sfety rails everywhere "for your own protection" !
Haha yes it is still very rugged and feels just a little more dangerous and adventurous! And what’s life without adventure!
Loved the ruins of Tikal, not sure how game I'd be open-flame candle spelunking! I'd be scared of igniting gases formed by anaerobic processes underground.
Thanks for posting. Human societies built around some ideal and run by managers...
wondering if managers then had the same vices and virtues fueling them,
even with "elongated heads"?!
Did you save the candle?
Helping me stay chuffed.
Haha no candle was not included in the price ;) Yes was very interesting learning about the society and some of the theories about how it all came to be. Stay Chuffed!
@@VetTails I almost forgot to ask, if you aren't familiar with badboy wifi from bitstorm, a Canadian wifi amplifier maker. 700 bucks gets you serious reception range. Trips to Cafe less required... Pay then stay aboard and do office work in the office and field work in the field? Of you probably already know about this! A sailing couple I know introduced me to 10km "line of sight" range. Waiting for mine to arrive any day now. If you want updates, edenrr at gmail. Cheers.
Wow that sounds amazing! Definitely let me know how it goes, and if it works well. $700 is a big investment for me but could be worth it to obtain wifi at a distance. My gmail is sheridan.vettails @ gmail.com
I want to try vegymyte I've never seen it here in the states

Pleasure to meet you I’m a retired Navy Sailor after twenty years in US Navy I was a engineer worked mainly on Diesels any issues drop me a message
I still don't see how they can put an age on things when no one knows where the people went who built things like that. I used to visit swimming holes like that in Northern California. I don't like swimming up here where I'm living now. Only in Hot Springs.
Yes I assume the exact dates are unknown, but I am guessing they have lots of good science to back it up. The pools were very beautiful! Thanks for watching and stay chuffed!
What if the steps were big because of the giants? I have to wonder who writes those signs and what is their agenda? The sons of god fell to earth and mated with the daughters of men and created giants, and nephilim Genesis 6.
That’s an interesting way to look at it too, who knows? Thanks for sharing that information
Are you married. You are so pretty.
Yea IReally love this channel! A great couple with both heart and balls.
Haha thanks! We remove some balls too! 🤭
