I’m doing this project in circuit Python and esp32-s2. Already got the UA-cam api working but I’d rather have them all in one box. Took your advice and using a bigger 8x10 box. After years finally sitting down to do this project. Tons of fun! Keep the project vids coming, love your content!

Take a look at the tutorial, I bet you'll be able to make that combo work without too much noodling!
I wish the LEDs did'n't flicker on camera. Other than that, I love this!
But how else would you deepen your understanding of both PWM *and* camera shutter speeds?! I managed to mitigate it in most of the clips but hey, nature of the beast. For the benefit of future readers: the LEDs do not flicker to the naked eye.

I´m just playing around with this cool idea.
I found a bug caused by a new Version of ArduinoJSON you used in your sketch.
The new Version 6.x.x beta causes the error.
If you choose the older version 5.13.2 everything works fine.
Maybe you add this info to your video and instructable, this may save some hours for the following makers...

What's the error? I'd like to keep the code compatible with the latest versions of things (rather then tell folks to use an old version), but it's hard when there are so many past projects to manage. I just updated my libraries the other day (because an update in the Instagram situation necessitated it) and re-uploaded the code to my social display without an issue.

That´s the Error that pops up when using ArduinoJSON 6.2.3 beta, when switching back to 5.13.2 everything works fine

Great video! I am making one for myself. I am trying to add a counter for Facebook and therefore I am using this sketch github.com/witnessmenow/arduino-facebook-api/blob/master/examples/ESP8266/GetFriendsCount/GetFriendsCount.ino but it is not working and I am getting errors . Can you please help me out ?
