Trains at St Albans City, MML - 15/12/18

Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at St Albans City on the Midland Main Line where services are seen by East Midlands Trains and Thameslink who are a brand of TOC Govia Thameslink Railway.
St Albans City was a great station, it has some great passing trains and to me is a more narrower version of West Hampstead Thameslink in terms of the curves. The station itself has a good amount of passes as everything out of St Pancras runs here. The 700s run on their pantographs here so compared to the last video, they make a different sound. The views aren't fantastic but are good enough, and you can hear the Meridians from far away when they're coming from St Pancras.

I found two or three Thameslink services in the morning going southbound that don't stop at St Albans - it's a bit odd.

Great video Kieran!! St Albans is another great station on the MML like all of them really. 'Quotes: 4 car on Sheffield to st Pancras. Have you heard of cross country
