26:06 It was noted during that pick on the featured draft by Anthony that a rare was missing from the pack Reid passed. This means the card picked was Bramble Familiar or Sentinel of Lost Lore, likely the former since making sure you have enough early plays in a deck like this is so critical.

    Anthony Lee seems super likeable.

As the announcers said, Ken had the better deck. The delta is so significant I would say that Ken was "SUPPOSED" to win this. But! Magic is a game of skill, luck and VARIANCE. Unfortunately a handful of red cards and not a single mountain. We've all had games like this. This is partially the reason I quit, the variance aspect is just too unpredictable and unforgiving.

I put "supposed" in air quotes because Alas this is a cardboard game. Nothing is supposed to happen but yeah. frustrating to say the least.

It is magic’s worst and best feature. It can be horrible, but also means you always have a chance. My best games were the ones I turned my luck around or used an opponent’s stumble to steal a win. Also thanks to mulligans you have a lot of control over it.
Obviously compared to Chess or Go the RNG is a good reason to quit, but it seems quite healthy compared to other card games.
