US deploys 3 B-2 Spirit bombers in Philippines, China urges withdrawal.
China has urged the United States to recall three B-2 Spirit Stealth bombers that were recently deployed to Clark military base in the Philippines on Saturday, June 29, 2024. The arrival of these advanced aircraft in the South China Sea region sparked concerns and tensions in the region.
The Chinese government stated that the deployment of the B-2 Spirit was a provocation and violation of China's territorial sovereignty. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said in a statement on Sunday, June 30, 2024, that China "firmly opposes" the presence of the aircraft and urged the US to "immediately withdraw them."
Zhao Lijian also added that China "reserves the right to take necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty and security." This statement led to speculation about possible countermeasures from China, such as increased military activity in the South China Sea or joint military exercises with other countries in the region.

If the US really wanted to help PH on our resupply and humanitarian missions then US warships should have delivered the FOOD and evacuated the SICK and China would not have been able to water cannon those magnificent warships. But why did they not do that? Why? Using US warships to "HELP" PH would escalate the fight against US itself, it would become a US vs CHINA confrontation! But the US does not want that, it does not want fight on its own ground, that is why the US is telling PH to do it ourselves, so CH can only confront PH and if war breaks out, only PH can be targeted and not the US (like in UKRAINE). I am a filipino and I fight for PH but I will not fight for US or take part in another proxy war that US wants to start in Asia as its supremacy in finance and economy is now nothing. We won the fight in international court, that is very good. Now it is high time we ask the international court on WHO will implement our VICTORY at the international court because if it cannot enforce its ruling then it does not deserve to be an international court of justice. This should be OUR direction, not be slaves to other nations (US or CH) interests.
Sending B2 bombers is NOT helping, it is wanting force escalation from CH. Then next would be war.
If the US really wanted to help PH, park one of their Aircraft Carriers near BRP Sierra Madre, use that force to shield PH missions to Ayungin Shoal. With an aircraft carrier there, CH will keep distance and we would live peacefully with OUR territory (It would be a stalemate between US and CH), but why does the US not do that? Because PEACE is never in US minds.
The URGING to withdraw is requesting de-escalation of tensions, CH does not want to show additional force as a result of this B2 bomber action which will escalate the situation.
