Thx Michael, my serger may make me a more accurate piecer too! Will have to give it a try....too HOT (40+ degrees celcius)down under here to be outside.
My thoughts are why use the serger to quilt and use ALL that thread that a serger uses to sew blocks together and especially when you use a batting/backing that really protects the seaming done by a standard machine?????
It's an alternative method of sewing together a quilt top, a great one to know if you are making memory quilts with different fabric substrates or have a fabric that shreds easily. Happy Sewing!
