I love and admire every celebrity on this list... to have such courage to let the world see the trials and tribulations that each of their illnesses have put and continue to put them through, only makes them true heroes in my eyes and my heart ❤🙏🏼🤍❣
I have been suffering from Hashemotos disease, rheumatoid arthritis. Anemia and Sjögren’s syndrome for years. I know the pain and exhaustion everyday. I have no one to help but faith in God and early retirement and I am still here.
I have been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, complex, regional pain, syndrome, and anxiety. Every day is a challenge and a blessing. I have been able to educate those around me about these diseases and their challenges. I think that these celebrities are in a unique situationto further the conversation about these diseases and call Emma attention to their need for funding research. Michael J. Fox is an inspiration for us all!
*That's right. Everybody has their season. My sister once told me that you are either entering, the middle of or coming out of a storm. Don't judge anyone. No one is perfect.*
NO --- Don't avoid going out and doing whatever you want to do. I find it very inspiring and educational to others that are suffering from their own problems. These battles are real, don't let anyone deny your feelings and positiveness no matter what you are going through and remember, you are helping people when you speak out and go about your day as normal. It makes people realize that even iconic people can also go thru the same situations as them..Makes them not feel separated but also the successful can struggle in various situations. Keep speaking ... they will listen! Just know that no one is alone.
I love all these celebrities for their strength and perseverance they have shown by sharing their stories about their diagnoses and treatment of their illnesses. I especially love Selma Blair and her strength as I've been fighting MS myself since 2004.
These amazing people spent most of their lives entertaining us. When it comes to illness they are the same as any human. This reminds me of Patrick swayse. One of my favorite actors. Watching him slowly get worse was so sad. I can’t imagine his wife’s suffering. 😢
HE WAS IN THE TV SHOW CALLED THE ELECTRIC COMPANY THAT I ENJOYED WATCHING WHEN I WAS ALOT YOUNGER GROWING UP. THAT IS WHERE HE GOT HIS FIRST START IN ACTING. HE PLAYED "EASY READER" "MEL MOUNDS" AND "COUNT DRACULA" ON THE CHILDREN'S TELEVISION WORKSHOP {1971} HE THEN MOVED INTO FEATURE FILM WITH ANOTHER CHILDREN'S ADVENTURE, WHO SAYS THAT I CAN'T RIDE A RAINBOW! {1971} 0:08
Rita Moreno was also on Electric Company with Freeman. Also Luther Vandross started out singing the alphabet on the children's tv series Sesame Street.
Unfortunately many of these illnesses don't have a cure, YET. There are only drugs/medications to treat the symptoms and to slow the illness progression
Yes, take a break and put yourselves first. You are loved. Blessings are on the way for each and every one of you. Bruce Willis, and Michael J.Fox. The most memorable to me, Respectfully... God bless all of them!!!
Amazing info to help us understand yhese diseases. Highlighting the stars struggles/battles and challenges has brought it to better understand what all or any of us could face ourselves or in our families. Thank you. 9 10 and more!
Thank you for all these stories... Such great losses. And all are missed. I think Michael J Fox has my vote on his struggles and Perseverance ...love him no doubt.😘😘
Thank you, Jennifer! It's wonderful to see so many of our beloved stars still shining brightly. Your prayers and blessings are surely appreciated. Which actor's story inspires you the most?
Yes and with respect, it's mind blowing and heart blowing to me the friends I have experienced who've suffered profound impacts of terminal illness and/or chronic pain without adequate resources at all and in extreme poverty. My dear friend and beloved step father to my daughter recently suffered and passed away in the cold in New Zealand, alone and unable to support his medical treatment on a minimum wage .....😢 he wasnt even able to attend a GP at most times of a long debilitating experience of chronic Diabetes 1....yet still paid his child support and cared for his step daughter whenever he could. Strength and courage that fuels my aspiration daily. ❤ So many folk in the world lack any adequate financial resources or even family or community supports in dire situations. My brother died in a psychiatric hospital alone and there was not even anyone with financial resources to pay for a funeral. There's a huge disparity with the rich and the working poor in many situations of failed health. 😢
What a great loss you've endured.... Our system for the less fortunate really sucks...I suffer from medical issues as well including A rare cancer of the blood..but I'm 78 and the o e thing that pains me the worst is painful arthritis in both knees..I loved walking and that is a detrimental issue for me. But I constantly think there are people out there that are worse off than me. I look for the sun everyday and think of the alternative lol! But I just wanted to let you know someone cared about your story from St. Louis. Also our need in the U.S.A for more funds for those less fortunate and more free clinics. Have a great life. And take care of yourself and your loved ones. Remember tomorrow is not promised.
No, keep up the good work, and continue to inspire us all how to fight material disease and struggles. Be spiritually strong as the soul is forever youthful, blissful, and eternal, just trapped in a temporary material body🙏
Hi Selena, keep fighting n shine thru your lupus disease. As a mom with cancer, a mom of the Paris2024 Olympian, and the mom of a son that ended up taking his own life at 24......... life is short. I'm glad they want to talk about there illnesses. I have several autoimmune systems syndromes. My white blood cells attack my red cells constantly, therefore I'm tired all the the time. Now I have something new going on, my legs doesn't want want to work alone, I'm using a rolling walker, i can't seeem to get my Drs. To address this issue. Any feed back will be welcome, I assure you. Thank you.
It's amazing how many celebrities have illnesses as they hide it so well I admire them as they don't let their illnesses get in the way of what they're doing , love George Clooney what a handsome man ❤9
This is very sad to see these people suffering but we all suffer in the end don’t worry it’s not fair this paper trying to cope with it through life I hope they get better soon or find some new things that can make them their lives better thank you this is number nine I like it
Emunacal, product in Canada. Glutathione is what parkason people need. My husband with parkason stopped the shaking. He had parkason for 15 years. He lived to 94.😅
Thank you for sharing your story. It’s incredible to hear about the positive impact Glutathione had on your husband. Wishing you continued health and happiness
9- Devistated for anyone to have any of these diseases. It’s so sad that we have so many top notch actors being diagnosed with such heartbreaking diseases. Morgan Freeman, Jack Nicholson and Bruce Willis. Movies will definitely not be the same without them😢
No they have thebest platform to use for auttoimmune disease's, i too suffer from auttoimmune diseases which have recently taken the life of my son and aunt. Its not understood and having 1 is linked to others bc autoimmune never come with only 1, instead they are clustered. My sons life ultimately saved mine almost 2 years ago at the young age of 29. My goal in life is to eduxate others so that they too can help spread the dangers and true understanding of what autoimmune really is. Its nuchmore dangerous than once thought to be. So hats off to these public figures who so bracely go front & center with diseases that most often are rarely seen by others due to rhe internal symptoms that arent noticeable by others. Save a life & get educated !
It is not up to the public to decide if another needs to keep moving forward in their occupation. They are the only ones with their family. That can make that decision based on their health. We as public are not living them.

IT'S SWAYZE
poor Patrick struggled with alcoholism. in addition nobody treated him correctly for pancreatic cancer which we now know is curable.
We LOVE you Morgan Freeman
Morgan Freeman is truly a legend, isn't he? His voice and performances are unforgettable. What's your favorite role of his?
