Is particular topic pe video jaisa kuch khas hai nhi.
1. No product based vlsi company is in favour provide complete WFH.
2. You can ask for WFH (Hybrid mode) and if the team is good then manager will provide you. So, Hybrid mode is possible.
3. When you are experienced enough, a company may offer 3 days WFH-2WFO (like that).
4. Startups or small companies may provide full WFH but work life would be bad there because they would have 24*7 expectations.
So, In short: Complete WFH / Remote job is myth in good product based vlsi companies. Hybrid is possible and provided everywhere.
Remote jobs even if available, then only suit and provided to very experienced person. Who has no dependency to finish his work.
I have also joined NIT Rourkela this year as a JRF and would pursue MTech(Research) parallelly.

I am very confused.which should i prefer?
Nit kurukshetra electrical or nit kurukshetra iiot(launched last year)
I don't have any specific interest.So,i care only about future scope and money.
I have talked to a senior of nit kkr.He told that he has to study embedded system and little cs related subjects
IoT would be able to make you learn demanding skills required in today's market.
It is a very good domain. There would be vlsi electives also possible.
While EE is outdated except power electronics based on Placement scenarios.
So, IoT is respectively a better choice but not better than Conventional ECE.

Sir I have got NIT rourkela VLSI, and I kept this choice above NIT calicut.
The reason was simple , as ROURKELA allows 11 month internship and calicut don't ( it only allows 6 month and that too for 50% students).
But many students are saying that calicut is way more better than ROURKELA
is it true??
Should I change my preference in special round by keeping Calicut above ROURKELA?
I am so much internship oriented and I also want good vlsi coriculums and faculty!
kindly suggest, do I need to change my preference or stick to the original one.
1.Trichy> surathkal> waramgal> rourkela> calicut.
2. Trichy> surathkal>waramgal>calicut>rourkela.

As per me Rourkela and Calicut have similar reputation. Also, Internship part is plus point in Rourkela while location is plus point for Calicut.
Rourkela is more focused on research curriculum and that's why students have perception that Calicut is better.
You will get opportunity at both places. Conversion/ cracking interview would be totally your skills. Go as per your convenience.
A simple suggestion to choose clg, which is nearby your home. As per both colleges have similar opportunities and reputation.

Yes, It is possible and students have done it in the past. But, I would suggest to watch my recent video as there same issue is discussed.

Sir CCMT allotted control and automation in mtech should I pursue Mtech I don't know anything about NITR like placement scenario for Mtech in control and automation are professor helpful, are Lab good

I won't recommend any electrical branch except PE&D for M.Tech when placement is the goal.
Professor and labs are good but branch doesn't have that many and high paying opportunities

By the way sir, 1.who earns more? a design verification enginner or RTL design enginner or Physical design eng. ALso 2.which of this domain has more growth in package. ? 3. which domain is less hectic.
Growth is independent of domains and completely dependent on an individual's hard work, academic background and the point where he started.
Front end vlsi offers more flexibility and less hectic.

Bhaiya how is MANIT Allahabad for vlsi, and i am getting IIT Mandi Vlsi in next round which college should i prefer?
Also NIT Calicut vlsi is at 573 for obc after R2 , can i get it my gate score is 529 after Special rounds?
Yes, There is the possibility to get NIT Calicut.
IIT Mandi, NIT Allahabad, NIT Rourkela, NIT Calicut carries almost similar reputation and perform more or less in vlsi placements. Choose as per your convenience.

1. If your college is able to arrange opportunities in your particular domain then just prepare for that. Ask seniors for this particular information.
2. If college is able to get opportunity only in VLSI then struggle comes. You have to prepare for vlsi, compete with vlsi guys of ur college and at the same time reading for semesters as well which would have RF subjects mainly.
A little smart trick can be to go with all the electives of vlsi domain so that that much time is saved and they can help in grades as well.
@@Singh-Rajveer Bhaiya I'm just about to start my MTech at IIT KGP in RF and Microwave Engineering but there is a confusion I have already taken 2 year drops for VLSI in Top NITs and IITs,still havn't got VLSI.As far as I have gathered the information only very few students got placement in RF domain.Should I go with that branch or again write gate ?
Bhaiya I got NIT Rourkela Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering branch. Is this branch good for VLSI placement? Or I switch to NIT Durgapur VLSI branch .. my gate score is not enough to get vlsi in nit Rourkela. What should I do bhaiya please help ?

Bhaiya i am taking admission in iit bhu for vlsi...i watched your videos of prerequisit for vlsi ...as i am ee student i have a fear to join vlsi .my doubt is except analog,digital,semiconductor physic..should i also study the physics of bjt and mosfet of edc subject..
BJT and MOSFET Physics deep understanding is not required at least for most of the job roles present in India.
Only basic knowledge like characteristics and general equation of these devices would be required.
No need to study in-depth device physics for vlsi job roles in India.

If you mean Instrumentation and control engineering by ICE then ECE is better.

Brother, can u tell me about average daily work hours in vlsi companies?
3-4 hrs during relax environment. (5-10% in a year)
5-6 hrs: Mediocre project phase(60-70% in a year)
8-9 hrs and can shoot up to 12hrs near deadline. (20-35%)
Bahiya apne bola ki mtech me jo internship laga tha apka wo btech ki resume ki hisab se laga tha... Aise toh hum jaise tier3 wale phas jayenge? Hume nhi milega kya opportunity
That was special situation as it was Covid year so NIT Rourkela was not able to conduct exams of first semester on time. Otherwise, M.Tech First year result is available before internship.
Also there were few mini projects added in my resume which I had completed in the first semester of M.Tech

Han bhai service based me to bilkul lg skta hai and product based bhi intern role ke liye hire kr skti hai.

VLSI me abhi utna competition nhi hai but the thing is yhan pe academics kaafi dekhe jate hai aur skills, projects to no doubt matter krti hai.
So, Agr wo particular NIT me opportunities aati hai and and aap acche se prepare krte ho, projects krte ho to nikal jayega.

Is year gap matter in vlsi i have 8 year of gap?
2-3 Years is easily manageable but 8 years is very long. Interviewer may ask the question about such a long gap and you need to perfectly answer that.
It is difficult to get job after this much of gap?

Yes, In English only.
All Mediatek, Cadence and Synopsys interviews given by me were in English.
Can you give your reviews about nit Durgapur vlsi ??

I had few good reviews about their internship opportunities but getting PPO totally depends on Individual's hardwork, company performance and market situation.
I would suggest having a few talks with current batch students before finalizing the one.
What should i choose between Jalandhar and Durgapur vlsi , if not getting vlsi in top nits ?
bhai tum bole ho 15 out of 20 ko call aaya bata sakte ho bhai i baki 5 ko call kyu nahi aaya
Resume shi nhi bnaya hoga, kuch log us time tk projects nhi kr paye the aur cgpa/ academics reason ho skta hai. Exactly to btaya nhi unhone reason.

Nhi yr, 24 ke around hi hai because maine Delhi as a base location pe switch kiya aur yhan pe packages Bengaluru se slightly (2-3) LPA lower hai.
But mera koi nuksan nhi hua because hr 15 din pe mujhe ghar (Lucknow) jana rhta hai😅 aur Bengaluru se us se jyada flight me khrch ho jate
