Thank you so much for explaining the culture and history of Auslan and insights into the Deaf community. I am currently learning Auslan at TAFE and my journey has just begun. It really gave me a more in depth understanding of Auslan and it also really helped with my assignments. Thank you again.

Hello! I, too, am learning Auslan at TAFE. We are also learning about Deaf Culture and signing history in Australia. Even as a child in the 60s and 😊 fascinated by those that could communicate through sign. I learnt the alphabet at about 10 in Girl Guides. That has stayed with me into my 60s now. So now I am fulfilling my desire to learn as much as I can of Auslan and participate in my local deaf community, of which I already attend a couple of Deaf Community activities.
I am keen to learn as much as possible, and modern technology is helpful with this. Thank you!
