Couple different ways, easiest way for me was to match up a heavy kick drum at the beginning of each 808 hit. So do the melody and drums first and then match the 808 hit with the kick drum and it’ll give that thump youre looking for without having to do a whole lot of engineering
Equalize the 808s too if you want a thump in your 808s then boost the low mids more
