That band, Aluminum Dream is from 1968 and played only once at some obscure art event. It would be shame if they made second song, couldn't like them then.
@raysnub every week or so, I switch back to 86 gear inches to work on some spin and fast twitch and it's a really nice break from pushing a big boy gear around. You should go to 48 : 15 = best ratio ever.
@mcmarga I'd run 48/16 on a smoother place without many hills, and a 48/18 on the other side of the hub (if you have a flip flop hub) for the areas with hills.
@MrHandro13 I personally ride 47 16, it gets me places and isn't too tough to do tricks on when im feeling like doing so, like wheelies and such. I sometimes use my 15 tooth cog on longer rides, but 47 16 is my daily pusher.
@cxbra good choice ;) sadly i don't have a flip flop hub, so i stay away from hills. but when i'm training on the road, i use 48x15 :) i don't understand why that dude said 48x16 is such a bad gear... it's pretty good for flat city riding
@shadow90723 its pretty hard to learn without toshis, fit alphas, or dual sprints, but its still possible. i learned on heavy duty zip ties. but basically, youre not literally sitting on your seat, but standing up a little if you will. at first, try leaning forward a tiny bit, where your knees are right in the middle of the top tube, and before you attempt at skidding, push your knees together hard so that your thighs are being placed against the top tube, and then pull up with the leg in
@TheTrueThaiboi At 0:42 you can clearly see his chainring is small because if youve ever seen a 50 plus Zen youd know theyre huge, while his is obviously not, and why would a ( judging by the tt and dt distance) 57cm frame make any difference in the perception of his chainring? His frame isn't large at all.
How long have you been riding? If it is hard to start pedaling for your ride or what ever, theres a lot of things that could be causing that. -Heavy bike -A not so good bottom bracket. (I used a sugino 75 and it was amazing) -Maybe you need to ride your bike and build some more leg muscle. -Experience, knowing your bikes strengths and weaknesses. But those are just some reasons. I had a 2009 Fuji Track Comp with a 48x17 and it just worked for me. Put a 17t cog and see if it makes a difference.
I wanna look like you guys look wen you guys ride because you guys are all the way like in the front do you have to put your seat all the way infront and does the hight of your seat post matter if it does can you tell me how high it needs to be,and also does it depend on the kind of stem you have,and what kind of ratio do you have if anyone can answer me thanks
@raysnub couldn't; the shit's HIGH QUALITY! Hahaha, I actually had a Hed 3 that experienced a crash by a car, the wheel was like, 3 or 4mm out of true to both sides and I still road it for like, 300 miles until I sold it. Hahaha. And yea dude, I never expected that vid to get that big. And sick dude! Did my advice help at all? And trust me dude, gearing up is amazing but staying in the middle is always really comfy. Did 50 miles of hills on 99 gear inches today, I absolutely loved it, but
@408Albert If you want to do tricks, go with a 46x17. You pedal a lil more and can do tricks easy because all my friends run that ratio and do them. I personally don't like doing tricks and 48x17 gives me that faster edge in pedaling because all i want to do is just ride my bike. You pedal less but it's a lil harder to push but hardly a difference.
front really hard and push back with the leg in back really hard and at first, you might get a little skid for a split second or you might just get it. if you dont, keep trying. any size of clips smaller than large makes this harder, and tighten your straps a little tighter than usual if they arent already super tight.
@raysnub Hahaha, those are the reasons why most people don't like him. Regardless, he's still pretty cool. I'm not sure if I approve of skidding on a tubular disc though. And he actually has a rear Spin trispoke.
@jdawg4334 whaaaat like who?! and word, you got a point. it's just too reckless. you got it, now that i look closer i see it. wtf you're that dude with the how to skid tutorial video. i watched it when i first got into fixed. dying to gear up :[
@Bibelbabys why would you want to save more energy? lower gear ratios dont build up as much muscle or cardio as higher gear ratios do. ive never seen a roadie who was actually going fast ride a small ratio, the ones who go 40km/h+ the whole ride always ride big, 85+ gear inch gear ratios. and i know how to pedal fast, i rode 46 17 for two years, and now after 2 months of riding 54 17, based on my experiences and opinions, its way better, easier, and more manageable and convenient / efficient
@MrBentlarsen id do what massan does, and besides, thats never gonna happen, do you know anyone where that has happened to? i dont. and i ride an njs chain so thats literally never gonna happen.
@jdawg4334 i hate guys having no idea what they are doing ask some road bikers for help, they do not ride big ratios ! pedal faster saves more energy and is very effective. if you ride about 70km/h you will need that ratio .. so, learn to pedal fast !!!!
i miss macaframa
+riefki2840 ;( i miss SF
@@What-IRS and unfortunately mash sf isnt free, bot and lost the dvd..
@@living4adrenaline All the clips are on their Vimeo
I love how he's rockin a new wheelset in every shot, yet his bike stays the same. I bet that Pista Concept (and Super Pista) is killer!
Always the dopest parts/setup
love the dead arm junky wheelie at 1:20

It looks like a Campagnolo Shamal. Pretty hard to find and expensive, not to mention you'll most see them set up for road most of the time.
@misturxtwistrer Hes got a rear spin trispoke or a specialized trispoke and the front is a 650 HED3
XD This guy is pretty much set for track. Hella aerospokes everywhere, a couple of tris, and a disk... Chris Hoy eat your heart out.
Name of song??
Very nice wheelset! :)
super awsome dude
@mcmarga I'd run 48/16 on a smoother place without many hills, and a 48/18 on the other side of the hub (if you have a flip flop hub) for the areas with hills.

damn, campy shamal, hed 3 spinergy stealth, spin trispoke, deep v, zipp disc, and an aerospoke. Fuckin badass
i would kill for his set up. omfg. nigga pushes two HED-3's, discs, velodrome set ups on the the street. love this dude.
thanks mate.

I love how he skids at the car at 1:43 I may have to start doing that too :)
@jdawg4334 So what if your chain drop or snap in the middle of at crazy hill!
@MrBentlarsen its not stupid when you know how to stop correctly and efficiently.
@1:20 deadguy wheelie
@MrAnsonHunter Did you really spend the time to think of and post that?
i saw him when i visited sf
@raysnub couldn't; the shit's HIGH QUALITY! Hahaha, I actually had a Hed 3 that experienced a crash by a car, the wheel was like, 3 or 4mm out of true to both sides and I still road it for like, 300 miles until I sold it. Hahaha.

@dazed691 "
pista concept" not sure what year though
@goldenate. When ure a Macaframa rider, certainly
THE DISK.
What rim is silver one he uses like a deep v or something
@MrHandro13 thanks a bunch man. :]
@zerodeath3 i ride with 54 17 and its literally.... amazing.
both the song and the way he rides fixies are sick
@MrHandro13 What is, in your opinion, the best ratio?
@misturxtwistrer Look up Hed 3 thats what i think he has on his bike
@jdawg4334 damn, thats a pretty heavy gear. Ya got some beastly legs there buddy
@goldenate yes.
@cxbra thats like, perfect dude.
Does anyone by any chance know what camera they filmed?
how you skid sitting down
@408Albert If you want to do tricks, go with a 46x17. You pedal a lil more and can do tricks easy because all my friends run that ratio and do them. @MrDavid2k9 Campy Atlanta 96?
@MrBentlarsen Then you take your power foot of and stick it in your back wheel. I call that the fixed-gear emergency brake.
front really hard and push back with the leg in back really hard and at first, you might get a little skid for a split second or you might just get it. if you dont, keep trying.
any size of clips smaller than large makes this harder, and tighten your straps a little tighter than usual if they arent already super tight.
@thienly it could possibly be a clincher.
@rattanalauguico yup
@MrHandro13 ty
what the song
@cidraking ALUMINUM DREAM-STRANGERS CALLING
THUMBS UP ^_^
@OxygenMcgee You've got the right idea.
what is this song?
@MrBentlarsen haha, thanks? :]
@AnFinsceal1 why?
@raysnub Hahaha, those are the reasons why most people don't like him. Regardless, he's still pretty cool. I'm not sure if I approve of skidding on a tubular disc though.
And he actually has a rear Spin trispoke.
03:10 did he just lost shoe?
what's the music
why is his front wheel so small
@mcmarga i think its due to the skid patches, burns through gator skins ..
@MegaGiggity69 i hope you know that chris hoy is like, a record holder.
@enjoistik its very average good if you want to have a decent speed bike and be able to do some tricks but you wont be exceptional at either.
@MrHandro13 thanks man. :] its honestly not that bad, i tried 54 15 for about 3 days and went back to 17 as fast as i could. hahahaha.
@jdawg4334 Haha i know what you mean man, trust me you ride a tougher ratio than 80% of fixed gear riders, I got respect for ya
are toshi double straps njs certified?
@bloozn69plus1 Colin rides 49 17 now idk bout this vid tho his Zen looks pretty small tho
@jdawg4334 whaaaat like who?! and word, you got a point. it's just too reckless. you got it, now that i look closer i see it. wtf you're that dude with the how to skid tutorial video. i watched it when i first got into fixed. dying to gear up :[

48x17
Best gear ratio.
;)
Ssssshhhhhhhhhh
@daydaygets No, but the singles are. If you want NJS stamped straps get alphas
@jdawg4334 full respect man!
What kind of bianchi frame does he have?
is 49x18 a good ratio?
It's so he can do bar spins. if i was a 700c it would be to big and you cant barspin because it will always just hit your foot.
@Peraltaskies69 AGREED!
wtf skidding on a tubular....a tubular disc....schweet
at 3:10 did he drop something?
LOL, full face mask. is he planning on robbing a bank?!haha
@LxTxSURGE well, whats your ratio bro?
Press 2 over and over.
@winterburn38 Disc?
song anybody???
wen i skid(the noob way i just strted!) it hurts my reakin balls!any tips?
It's a 650c.
is he using 650c?
53x17 my friends ;)
@megafixierider Beanie.
@MrBentlarsen id do what massan does, and besides, thats never gonna happen, do you know anyone where that has happened to? i dont. and i ride an njs chain so thats literally never gonna happen.

I think that idiot bike is a mountain bike, I ride my bike like this in the video with no brakes and did not intend it to no other!
Does riding a Zipp clincher on the street make you cool?
Keep the beard
Aerospokes are cool, but I REALLY am not going to pay 350 dollars for one. No way. Ill just get pimp out the rest of my bike for that much.
diggin the 0 dislikes. :]
@zerodeath3 48x16 ;)
@MrAnsonHunter Oh ok thats actually pretty cool, sorry lol the story made me laugh though haha
@Peraltaskies69 in-fucking-deed
