Dmc 5 came sooo close to match it but the essence and charm of dmc 3 honestly is unmatched

yeah, in dmc5 vergil doesnt even look anything like dante, did they forget they were twins? in dmc3 they look identical when vergil s hair is down.

these kinda scenes is what dmc5 was lacking. i know dmc5 wanted to make all the action playable in game. but having only 1 single cutscene paced so well with story and action is kinda what dmc 1 3 and much of 4 did best... if dmc5 ever gets "dmc5 se directors cut" i hope it throws in more stuff from the manga to even the story out from being so weirdly paced

I really wish they remastered this trilogy properly and actually you know, bothered to give the game updated textures, this just looks like they put it through some software to smooth out the textures and call it a day, just look at how beautiful the nier replicant remaster or the Kingdom Hearts remasters looked. This just seemed lazy on Capcoms part.
vergil don't scare from what's called the week demon
Honestly the way he fights off the demons here without moving a single step until the end should be his Dark Slayer style: every parry/block he did since he handles Yamato in Iaido here with his sheath is his version of a royal guard then he releases the energy into a dash attack then he re sheathed his sword the same way here.
Fun fact: vergil and dante are twins but vergil’s hair is up so it make him not look like dante

ahhh the beautiful scene that made it more dissapointing the fact that the game didn't have a campaign for Vergil. I forgave this after standars were raised, unless you were ready no accept that devil may cry was never treated as an AAA game after the first game. Of course, I didn't forgive this improvisation after 4 came out.
