52 Cameras I bought a G10 when they first came out and still have it. I don't use it near as much as I should or as I used to. (Samsung Galaxy Notes are so darn handy I never carry a camera any longer). I noticed, if I'm not mistaken, you mentioned these will not take pictures in RAW format. Mine does and used to use it from time to time. I use a Speedlite 270EX II with an extension sync cord and have had very good results. I enjoyed your video and it reminded me what a feature-packed camera the G10 was for it's time. Just went and dug it out of the drawer and I'm going to use it to take some tooling and machining pictures. Best wishes....
Thanks for pointing that out. You're right - this camera does RAW. I wasn't very clear the way I said it. I tape highlights or things like flash specs that I won't remember to the video camera but not a script. The good is that I speak like I normally speak. The bad is that I sometimes flub it. *The G7 lacked RAW but they put it back with the G7 firmware update and it is there by default from the G9 on.* I'm glad you resurrected yours, it's a cool camera.
Cheap is kind of a relative term so your mileage may vary. Online auctions are a roll of the dice. Not sure where you are but in the US, Craigslist can be a good source - just be prudent and meet in a public place. I've gotten some good deals on Etsy.com where I also sometimes sell. FYI: There is quite a delay for international sales conflict resolution through Etsy. I bought a Leica that turned out not to exist but I'd used Paypal so I got my money back faster and with less hassle. HTH.

In my experience the g11 or above are much better, G10 is too noisy even at ISO400
