I love the Doctor's attitude, he's so kind towards his patience and his toe, he made the conversation relaxed so it wasn't intense, idk I just satisfied watching this lol.
Every good doctor needs good bedside manor. It can be a high anxiety experience for some people. And keeping a light conversation really does help. Except at that dentist anyways. They always try and talk to me and ask questions while my mouth is full of dentistry equipment .
This is a masterclass in how to talk to patients who have a carer in attendance. You are so compassionate and respectful, and you communicate so clearly; this should be mandatory viewing for any clinician in training.
I truly wish every doctor/dentist could show this level of compassion for patients. I know it must be frustrating to treat people who let things go. But the fear to admit/seek help is real and for a professional to show this level of compassion/empathy for patients no matter when/how they come to them is phenomenal.
Jenifer Koch why is this frustrating? I know that most normal people don't go to Drs every little thing that happens bc for one it cost money and two a lot of the time you dont need to go and you end up wasting mad money for no reason. Of course Drs get mad! they want that $$ they don't understand visits cost you. If it was just because the person waited till they were sure they had to go what's the problem? Why would they be mad at the patient for that? Does that affect the Dr at all? are they the ones in pain? No. It just makes no sense.
My life long doctor for 40+ years has this compassion. He's awesome. He listens to your concerns and will discuss everything in terms you can understand. He isn't all about pushing patients out as fast as possible to collect more money. I can joke and laugh with him. I'm the type to operate on myself. I have the proper equipment to do certain procedures and I will tell him if I plan on doing something on my own. He will address any issues that he can see that may arise from my own surgeries lol.
I took care of mt mom and dad both. I my mom was so thankful when I gave her bath and rubbed her down with lotion. I’m a medical assistant to a podiatrist and this doctor did amazing. You’d be surprised how much these hurt and how much better this patient will feel immediately. Great job! Thankfully the Dr was able to get them out without having to do an avulsion or matrixectomy (small office surgical procedure) and this guy can feel better now. Older people can’t get down there to cut them and then they become embarrassed so by the time they come in they are so long and thick and grown in the skin or worse. Check on the older loved ones! I’ve heard so many times that they didn’t want to “bother” anyone with it! Much love from a podiatry assistant!

Wish I still lived in Toronto, but would be willing to make the trip in from Stratford if I ever need your services. Have really been enjoying your videos.
Just got one of my toenails removed today. Your videos are really helpful it made the process smooth!! Thank you for educating others on a sensitive topic like this.
Yeah, when you have those ingrown nails, everything is like AGONY! But the moment you take out that nail, it's like night and day! It still aches a little until the infection goes away, but it's like a weird kind of RELEIVED pain, like the feeling you have when you take off shoes that were way too tight and let your foot relax back into its natural shape.
Wow, that older gentleman took that whole procedure like a champ. I cant stand touching my nail when its ingrown let alone cutting it out. This dude is tough as nails.
It might be that he got used to it. I've had ingrown toenails for years of which one is basically destroyed. I used to have them surgically removed but after a while I stopped bothering and do it myself since. You just get used to it.
Respect! For the old man to manage that much pain and the doctor for being such a kind person with his patients. Great video! But really it really made me nervous throughout the whole video lol
If I had that job... Me:"Ok...Lets do this.. *accidentally rips out entire toe nail* Me"Uhh...Good news no more Ingrown Toe nail...Bad news...No more toe nail..." ._.
This process without pain killer is a total suicide thing to do. It is the most painful thing you can experience in your life. Trust me I experience it before.

Funny you mention that cause it's kinda 3 am here (·w·)
The way Jon Treats his Patients is stunning. One hell hell of a man. Glad to see someone with a soft side
GamerScrimsRT I wish my foot Dr was a little more down to earth I find so many that are just brash. I'll keep hoping to find one with his great disposition it doesn't hurt to dream I guess
GamerScrimsRT his wife is one lucky girl
GamerScrimsRT good job noob
Wow you seem like a really good doctor. Always explaining what you're doing to the patient and making sure they're comfortable. TAKE NOTES, OTHER DOCTORs
I love when they clean ingrown toenails out. It’s so satisfying.
Because of your videos I was able to clean my dad's ingrown and now his toenails look fantastic ❤
This is the sweetest little old man and you are just the sweetest foot specialist ever 😭 this made my heart swell.

Arif Faisal - watching this for the 1st time in June 2019 ... I’m scrolling through the comments to see if anyone has made mention of his ( sorry talking of you as the 3rd person) muscular arms
WARNING: homophobic idiot above.
You’re so very respectful towards your clients. For example: ‘You’re ok on that side sir?’ 👍🏻😉
Glad, so glad this older man found relief. Now i am relieved

@@TheToeBro you're more than welcome! I love puns. #ItsPunderful
Very impressed with how clearly and simply you explain what you are doing and why . You have a great"bedside" manner which I am sure is especially calming for first time and older patients . Wish I still lived in Toronto, but would be willing to make the trip in from Stratford if I ever need your services. Have really been enjoying your videos.
I LOVE how Kind and Compassionate you are with your patients!!! You truly are a wonderful man! Thank you for sharing!
It's cool how he likes all the comments it means he cares about his job and people who watch

Just got one of my toenails removed today. Your videos are really helpful it made the process smooth!! Thank you for educating others on a sensitive topic like this.
Oh that poor man that looked so sore. Until you've had an ingrown nail you really don't know just how painful it can be, hope his feet are better now.
I could listen to him talk forever. Wish someone like him did the audio books
He sounds like Norm from Tested on YT
Yes, me too! ❤️
Was just thinking this
Ask him to do an audio book for.....
Toenail Island!
3:45 that must feel nice removing the nail that’s been digging in.
Bass Junkie I’ve done that on my foot before, a lot less severe then this guy, but it is such a satisfying feeling
Bass Junkie I’ve had worse toenails
It’s all satisfying except for the numbing shots. THEY BURN
Quarantine is turning my suggestion feed into “weird corners of the internet portals” and honestly I ain’t mad.
Hahaha I feel you so much
Same though lol
Why am I here, what choices did I make that led me here?
😂
🤣
Lowkey satisfying idk why tho
ZeroOath what was the point in saying that like fr?

You're so kind and gentle with all your patients, it's so refreshing to see. Thank you for sharing and all the good advice you give❤
Wow, that older gentleman took that whole procedure like a champ. I cant stand touching my nail when its ingrown let alone cutting it out. This dude is tough as nails.
Lol I see what you did THERE
Not pain because Dead skin
@@JuanZapata-mr7gf What?!
It might be that he got used to it.
I've had ingrown toenails for years of which one is basically destroyed.
I used to have them surgically removed but after a while I stopped bothering and do it myself since.
You just get used to it.
probably neuropathy dulls
the feeling.

Dear T.B., you are THE best! You are so caring and sweet with all of your patients, it’s inspiring and uplifting to watch your posts. The world is absolutely a better place with you in it. Have a great week! 🙏✌️
