@@Artist_Unbound agreed. I have another version of another song from the musical I mentioned ("Epic" is the musical's name) planned in case the moment happens. I also have a version of "Crossing the line". Each song presents a different perspective for the potential moment.
Until then, I have a version of "Mother knows best" (reprise), but I'll present it later.

@@officalporgster also, "Crossing the line" is one of my favorite songs from that show. It never felt like a villain's ascension, merely someone breaking free of their chains to explore what they have on their terms, so you have no idea how excited I am seeing this here.
One suggestion I have for the song though, is when Gretel says "Wait", you probably should have written something like (Insert flashback scene to when Kevin got the license), in order to show us why the word triggered him, even though Gretel almost had him.
Also, "Burning a bridge" doesn't really work here, because Kevin is more strategic than that. Maybe the lyrics should have been altered to something like "If I'm letting the ship sink, let it sink !", you know, to symbolize how for him, the ultimate price isn't destroying his obstacles, but rather leave his source of support so far behind.
Ok, before publishig "Mother knows Best", I actually need to put some context here (the following scene is inspired from "Dishonored" and "Bioshock: Infinite):
(Gretel wakes up at night feeling extremely cold. She goes for the window to close it, seeing outside stars as numerous as the infinite symbol, and a nightsky bright as purple. A sight she never beheld before, living in the city)
-Wow... Nope, too cold. (She closes the window, but once she looks back up, outside, all she sees is white, grey and black. A completely monochromatic void suddenly ruled everything. By instinct, she put her suit on and went for her partner)
-Hamster... Hamster ? Hamster !
(And when she looked beyond the cage, her partner wasn't the only thing missing. A vast crimson ocean filled with OVNI themed lighthouses as far as the eye could see took the place of the rest of her house and town. It was unclear if it was there was any sky above. The monochromatic scenario, mixed with the lights, made the scenario above undistinguishable)
-(To herself) It's not gonna work. This is the Nightmarionette, it has to be.
(The young super-hero decided to fly and try to punch some of the Lighthouses, hopeful it would snap her out of it)
-Creepy lighthouse punch !
(The chosen Lighthouse simply blew up into feathers, and the [sky?] began spewing them too, like a bizarre snow that just needed the right excuse to fall and pollute the crimson ocean and infest it with whatever disease these feathers carried.)
-Nice try ! Just show yourself !
(She yelled as she used her heat vision towards no specific target. And that's when my altergo for these scenarios made itself known)
-Ow !
(The feathers stopped falling, and a darker human outline filled the space Gretel's laser hit, releasing smoke to signal its location)
-Gotcha ! UNKNOWN GUY PUNCH !
(The punch never connected to the target. The moment it was supposed to hit me, time seemed to slow for a moment, and in a mocking tone, I said to her ear, from behind her, just before time went back to normal)
-Ow again...
(Gretel tried to punch me again, but found herself disappointed with the attempt. I figured it was as good a any other time to show myself. Some of the Lighthouses melted into the already filthy ocean. Liquidally intertwined like a zebra's colors, these components rose and solidified, giving me a rather thin, naked form with the same pattern as a zebra's, but mixing white with red instead of black. Although, the short hair was as black as they come. The crimson iris, nails from both feet and hand, and lips did not make me look any less of a statue. They merely made me look funny.)
-We'll be back in a few hours. (I say to let you absorb the scene, since I don't think Gretel can)
