Hair Length: at least shoulder length
Materials: 1 small elastic, hair brush
Skills needed: fishtail braid, lace fishtail

+PCoderch I am so glad you were able to be yourself. I don't own my children, they belong to themselves and my job is to guide them in life.
My life was complicated and I was forced to do things I did not agree with. I am an atheist but one of my sons came to me and asked to be baptized. I asked him where? He said all religions. He was 8 at the time. I told him we start with one and his grandfather baptized him in his church. My other son is also an atheist. We live happily and I love my kids no matter what they are into, who they love, what they believe. No matter how they turn out I will love them. I believe in them as well as they believe in me and my husband.
Life is too short and precios to be unhappy and it's rather hard so why should I make their journey harder by being someone who stops their joy? Nope, I wish that on no one.
I tell them daily as they go to school, "Be good. Be kind. Be safe. Have fun. I love you." So far they are exceptional children and I am proud of them. Last year I was diagnosed with cancer. Docs caught it in time. I no longer will be able to have children and it hurts but I am lucky enough to be here and see my boys bloom into the men of beautiful hearts. :)

My favorite tutorials of yours are the ones for men bc my hair isn't that long and I'm really not girly at all lol. Thanks for including men hairstyles because now I have something to do to my hair that isn't too far out of my comfort zone! You rock!

I've always wanted to wear my hair like the second style but couldn't figure out... pretty much any of the techniques honestly. I tried this for my first day at university and kept it the whole week. I'd been dreading the experience, but the amount of self-confidence I felt wearing one of Legolas' hairstyles is amazing.

I learned how to do very basic braids watching you the other day. I’m a guy so no one’s ever shown me things like that so I just wanna say I’m grateful this channel exists. Hopefully I’ll be able to do something more advanced soon

The struggle of waiting for hair to be long enough to do this.
I know right! I cut my hair last winter and I'm still waiting for it to get past my shoulders again!
Meanwhile, I'm too scared to get a trim incase they mess it up. Trusted my mom to do it and she cut it from mid back to almost shoulder length about a year 1/2 ago and ever since I aint cut it, its its at my lower back now.
Might try trim it myself but I'm afraid I might mess it up
I don't even know how long I've been growing out my bangs for, I feel like I'll be a grown woman with kids when they're finally long enough. My parents have already started to complain about how I need to think of something else and hairstyles aren't the end of the world, but it's a way for me to be closer to my heroes. At least I'm not saving up for a surgery to make my ears pointy.
I cant even put my hair in a pony tail yet, so it makes running Cross Country difficult

I decided to wear my hair like this permanently, except I use dutch lace braid most times, it's just great and saves a lot of time in the morning :) (I renew the braids on the sides about once a week, they would last longer but as they get looser I get stuck with my brush...)

I did a hair transformation use to have the long middle part for 2 years it got old went with this hair style have straight wavy hair and it looks a lot better then the middle part everyone says thanks for this tutorial just suck at side braids with this :)

Amazing that doing a hair tutorial from a male character instead of female. Have you ever done hair tutorials for other fantasy male characters movies or tv shows, that's rated PG 13 / TV 14 or below? I kind of imagine Legolas's hair style looking the same as one of Susan Pevensie's hair styles.

clara simonson I realize this is five years later on the answer but if you’re still looking for that answer, göt2b Defiant Shine Pomade. It’s one of my absolute favorite products to smooth flyaway hair, and it has bits of shimmer and smells like citrus. I have very fine hair and on tiny braids I also mix in the barest hint of the göt2b Ultra Glued Invincible Styling Gel to lock the ends in place. Between the two it will survive conventions and Ren Faires, all day at least. I’ve had them last two days before. Like I said I know I’m half a decade late but this stuff is god tier styling arsenal and it can be difficult to find exact products by sight sometimes. (I spent three or so years looking for a mousse used on me in a salon once, so if I have the answer, no matter how old, if it’s still on the market I will say it now 😂)
