No cap this is actually such an advanced level tutorial in blender like there are no tutorials at all having simulations like this! Would love to see more physics playing with body in terms of r rated style
Thiiiiis is cool. So much potential to go further with details, like adding skeletons and organs that have their own effects and stuff. Really great tutorial, I'm gonna try this for a project today!
This video is very helpful! Very few people show videos like this and break it down in this way for everyone to learn! Thank you for making it and looking forward to more!
One reason some may have problems is you can't apply the explode modifier at frame 0, as (at least in 3.4.1) the edges aren't split but stay welded. When I applied it at frame 1 or later, it worked for me. Very nice explanation of the weight paint setup. Takk skal du ha!
DUDE YOU ARE LIKE A GOD OR SOME SHIT. GOAT. You are the first one who gets it. we need to be able to understand the whole pipeline. and you get it, thank you bro!
For some reason the mesh doesn't come apart when it its the sphere, the mesh just turnes into cloth, so its like he just has fabric as flesh, except in like certain parts where his arms detatch from his sleeve
I went back and i think it happens once i apply the cloth, its like it stitches all the pieces from the particle explosion together, they arn't apart anymore
Have you ever seen the "molecular" add-on? I REALLY wish the remesher for that would've stayed in development, because it's like perfect for working with this. There are videos of molecular destruction, like blowing up among us characters and such... and it's like a particle-based soft body sim allowing holes, pieces to blow off, insides to come out... if only there was a good remeshing or voxelizing/texture element to work with animations
Yeah man! I've actually been experimenting a lot with that. Mostly using metaballs, but that doesn't support tracked textures ;( In my opinion it's not really production ready just yet so that's why I haven't made any videos on it. Anyways, thanks for commenting!
i have a problem the character literally separates from the rig ands stops moving in the photogram 250 idk why i also have find out that its because the cloth simulation, any idea why?? 🙃
How do you get the blood to have that splatter effect like that? Mine just moves as one continuous object and doesn't spread out or separate like yours.
@@AlbinThorburn I’ll try. Maybe I missed something during the tutorial and it didn’t work for me. I’m working on my short action horror movie. And that effect is exactly what I need 😅
Idk I legit did everything you did and it’s just not turning out the way yours is at all. Like idk what step particular cause I did exactly what you did
I cannot express how long I have been waiting for someone to make this, You never miss man
Thank you! I'm glad to hear you liked it :)

this is literally one of the best tutorial in the entire youtube on this topic. don't delete this video it is a gold mine

Oh, I see! Thanks for clarifying that :)
this is the best tutorial for blender I've seen, clear, explained well and awesome effects, can't wait to try these out! thankyou
Thank you! :D
add displace modificator to the blood causes the mesh to have weird artifacts, spikes like
edit: add after that subdivision helped

I think i fixed it! I had to edit the mesh before i applied anything and do Mesh, separate, Selection, with all the mesh selected
Next DOOM game
Best video i have ever seen for blender
this is what i was waiting for.

Great video FxForge, really helped a lot!!!!
Hello bro
Can u tell me how u made sword cut through the body and hand falls off
This is so underrated
I got rickrolled ;(
Very cool technique, i'll try to use it in my next project
Awesome! Let me know how it works!
Thank you for making this tutorial
FINALLY we get Blood in Blender!!
Lmao YEEEESS!!!!! :D
Your videos are very nice
CRAZY
Totally AWESOME tutorial man, great job and thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you! :D I'm glad you liked it!
Brooooo thank you for this tutorial I was just getting into making gory renders!
Awesooooomeee!!!! It's really fun to play around with
how would you go about adding muscle tissue, and internal organs into the model for some extra spice?
I'd just model some organs inside the mesh and do the exact same thing for those! So they would be hidden under the skin before the destruction
Awesome tutorial, thanks!!!
Outstanding!
Thank you!
awesome tutorials as always 😍😍😍😍😍
you love to see it
Thank you! Glad you liked it.
Doom eternal be like😂😂😂 but good job bro looks so nice

Thank you very much
You're welcome, I'm glad you liked it!
excellent
Thank you!
it says modifier cannot be applied with shape keys, when i apply the explode
i followed the tutorial but when it got to the part at 4:40 where the body falls and the head stays both the body and head fall instead
How do you get the blood to have that splatter effect like that? Mine just moves as one continuous object and doesn't spread out or separate like yours.
How do you make the dismembered parts fall to the floor??
i've repeated this 3 times, my character's head doest not move at all, and half past the animation he just disappears. (on the sphere part)
Awesome
Thanks!
EPiC!
Thanks!
this is amazing, is there currently an easier way ? :D
thanks for the video. but how do you make the blood stay on the ground and the surface of the body?
I uploaded a video on that to my patreon but I basically just use dynamic paint. There are some good tutorials on that on youtube. Cheers!
@@AlbinThorburn i see. will check em out. thanks!
2 años para encontrar este vídeo q explique como se hace sangre uwu gracias
¡De nada!
ok coollll
:D
😍
idk why ,but it didnt work for me. I think the problem is a model that i use. Anyway, big thanks for the tutorial
That sucks man! Maybe try using the same model that I used to experiment with? Anyways, thanks for watching and hope it works out for you
@@AlbinThorburn I’ll try. Maybe I missed something during the tutorial and it didn’t work for me. I’m working on my short action horror movie. And that effect is exactly what I need 😅
I used your model and my model neither of them worked…and I followed the steps completely
Hmmm... What step did you get stuck on? Perhaps we can figure out what the problem is. It's possible I missed some detail
Idk I legit did everything you did and it’s just not turning out the way yours is at all. Like idk what step particular cause I did exactly what you did
@@TermIOS. It's hard to help you if you don't let me know what the problem was xD Like at what step did it get messed up???
wish I was 18 and not 13...
Sorry buddy can't watch it 🙃🙃
wtfun
hahah hell yeah xD
