Take her to the store and show her some of the scary masks and costumes she may see. That way when she sees them trick and treating she will know they are the she already seen are fake. Thank you for talking to her about this and not letting her be scared that night. It really does cause some kids trama that last foe years.

They weren't scaring her for the fun of it. They were educating her that she'll see scary masks on Halloween but there's nothing to be scared of.
It’s being prepared as would you just happily walk out the house not showing at least what masks will be about or something as kids get scared so easily it traumatises them to the point they can physically hate Halloween or example the pig mask and she sees a pig on a farm that can trigger , so they’ve prepared her for the first trick or treat as she knew it was her father behind the mask but it’s way masks are designed as kids like blakey won’t know until she’s older and fully understands , she was fine after if you watched and started poking the pigs nose , say rawwwrr , she didn’t run away or hide , she went to her mum then back to her dad and played with the mask , they do parenting better than most I’ve seen on YT reels and if that was my child I’d rather show them in my own home a mask of what other kids or teens would wear than not prepare her and just sent her out into that hell no

I mean it's better they prepare her in a controlled environment where they can put things in proper contexts for her, rather than just throwing her into the fray where she wouldn't understand, and it would be ten times more frightening for her. Imagine her being out trick-or-treating and a group of kids with their parents also in costumes approached her. Poor thing might faint from fright. I'm not that big of a fan of Halloween any more since learning of the pagan roots of it, but I'm not against kids having fun. Appropriate costumes, a few full size or jumbo candy bars, and a little orange Bible is what I'd give out. May the blessing of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

How come you enjoy scaring her, or spoiling her, or encouraging her bad behavior??? I guess you, as any other parent, wish the best for your precious kids, so, why are you acting this way??? If it was really the way you present the matter, why not just skip the Halloween thing, at least till the little princesses grow enough and won't be scared? Seriously, you believe than a bunch of candies can made it up for the hard time she went through? We, as adults, have tons to teach to our loved little ones, important things, scary stuff, sometimes too, the fire, electric matters, the pool, cross the street, etc. you know. So, what is the point to add scary things that are not interesting for their education? Are they gonna have to fight any ghost, witch, vampire??? You're very free to believe that I'm promoting hate, but sincerely, I spent my life rescuing abused and mistreated kiddos, I only feel incondicional love and tons of concern... I've faced all kind of awful things and it always starts because the parents don't embrace what responsibility and parenting means... Thank God, we're not talking about every parent, of course, but please, don't scare them for fun, don't tempt them putting candies before them and forbid them to get them, just to record a video for us to watch how they're gonna do it??? It's cruel, kids are crazy about sweets, so their choice is, craving for a candy bar or disappointing Mom because temptation was stronger???? Another one, who is the favorite parent, having both of them just in front? Why??? What is the need to put them in this situation. They're kids... They use to love both of them and sometimes, they can get mad at one or other, but it's a lot of pressure having to answer that, don't you think so? Personally, I've renounced to watch any kids center videos, most of them are so precious but besides they're also difficult ones and at this point of my life, I cannot put up with kids being toys for their parents and for an audience. The child's mind is more sharper and attentive at the age of 1 to 5. Things you keep speaking and act in front of them they adapt those things unexpectedly. You will not even know and expect but the child suddenly starts understanding, reacting in a way cause he/she was trained in such a way that's psychology.

I LOVE how her mom explained the masks aren't real. That was precious!! The sad thing though, there's ppl out there who find it funny to wear scary costumes and really terrorize ppl, especially kids. I can't stand seeing ppl so that. But my gosh, Blakely is so darn cute!! And the bluey costume her and her baby sister wore, those fit them so well!! Such beautiful girls!!
