The bird was a more obvious one for me. What’s more interesting in TP is how everyone isn’t directly named, but rather a portmanteau of prior Zelda characters. The old man who guides you to gerudo desert was Auru, obviously derived from Rauru. However, the funniest one to me is that Malon from Lon Lon Ranch’s successor is Malo, the baby faced child I imagine talking like the Brain from Pinky and the Brain who becomes an enterprising CEO out of nowhere, apparently. And is somehow able to buy the castle town store for 200 rupees when its cheapest products cost over 5,000 after you’ve paid 10 rupees to wash your shoes to enter. I’m guessing all the price gouging caused that store to fall on hard times. And they’d apparently rather sell the store outright than simply lower prices.
I did not know about the ocarina of time bowser neckerchief slide. Was certain he was going to mention the Mario painting you see through the hyrule garden window. Well done

BowWow/Chain Chomps are found in Zelda games before Four Swords.. found in both Awakening and A Link to the Past and apparently according to an interview with Takashi Tezuka that while at the time when he was working on Super Mario he decided to put it in A Link to the Past first as a joke and that it was designed as an Zelda enemy before it was in Super Mario 3.

I didn't know about the Chris Houlihan room. That's pretty damn neat. Ill boot up ALttP just to see it for myself. I also didn't know about the map layout of the Zelda 1 second quest, the Donkey Kong homage in the linked Oracle games or the chain chomp in Four Swords. I never played any of those and probably would never have learned about them if not for this video.
Thanks man for another great video.
Also in twilight princess one of the clown men, Fyer has a bullet bill on his sleeve
Did I just watch a video about stuff I already know? Yes I did.
Did I enjoy every minute of it. Absolutely!
1:02 ya... Hey he fogot that one.... He take me like 39 or 45 minute to find
The picture frames you see in Zelda's courtyard window with Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Princess Peach is a great addition .
Another instance of the Talon/Ingo Mario/Luigi comparison without recognizing that Malon is also a reference to Princess Toadstool in the first Mario Bros. One day, someone will say something...
The one I'm most familiar with is in Oracle of Seasons: if you get caught blowing up the bomb boss' house, they force you to stay inside the powder keg, and once it goes up, you die followed by the game restarting.
This is such a good video! ❤️ I thought the Elvis face was Dracula hahahaha whoops
honestly a video like this makes me hope of a video covering well known or interesting glitches from the entire series like back in time for the gamecube and wii titles or HESSing from oot and mm
5:57 when you mentioned Majora's Mask, you forgot about Ocarina of Time.
There was also the Zelda 1 dungeon shaped like the backwards Swastika from Buddhist symbology
my day is always better with zelda contents
The peach picture in links awakening dx on the game boy is one of my favorites
These videos are so relaxing to sit down and watch, thank you Zeltik.
Repent and follow Jesus! Repent doesn't mean confess your sins buy to stop doing them altogether. Belief alone is messiah doesn't give you salvation you have to follow and obey His commands too - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36. The last 3000+ years have been a testimony to God's word. contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) God is real and can tell the future/ make it happen or B) The world leaders/nations/governments have been conspiring together for the last several millenia. Bible prophecy is still being fulfilled too with the rebirth of Israel in 1948 and the incoming RFID microchips that Sweden is testing out right now.
Pray for God to intervene in your life and look for the motion of His hand. If you have any questions about scripture feel free to ask me
I'm not joking when I say even though I'm subscribed and have my notifications on, I still check UA-cam mainly for you and the other great Zelda channels. I'm really enjoying it!
I remember hearing a rumor when I was a child that Zelda 2 was an extended land that was north of the map in Zelda 1. Now I know if was true.
1:00 “Lol, that’s neat, I wonder what other shapes there are…. oh….. Ohhhh…. Oh no!”
I like that the intro is 12 seconds long so I can skip it
idk but its very appearent that windwaker is your fav zelda. very cute. and you play a very slowed down chill version of the water sages music in the end of every vid. youre a cool dude.
It's dangerous to go alone, take this!
Goddammit old man!
This isn't Ganon's lair, this is Liberty City
@@Zeltik It looks just like Philadelphia but even more shitty.
I love the Easter Eggs in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D.
Another neet refrence that is exclusively found in majora's mask 3D is in the bomb shop you can find a gamecube, it even has the gameboy player.
One Easter egg I like is that in Majoras Mask the Bassist of the Zora Band is playing the Royal Crypt/Dungeon Theme
Just commenting for algeritham. Love your vids.
I did not know about the ocarina of time bowser neckerchief slide. Was certain he was going to mention the Mario painting you see through the hyrule garden window. Well done
This video was fun i enjoyed it.😃
This was wonderful, thank you for making it 💚
Speaking of the paintings in ALBW, in Ravio's shop, there's a painting of a rupee, that when walked behind, gives Link one rupee.
Awesome as always!
“There is little information on The Chris Houlihan room.” That was the first episode of Pop Fiction on GameTrailers. It is still on UA-cam, and they go over the mechanics of how it works.
9:28 when you go behind the mask, the music changes to a sinister song
That is pretty cool about Chris, this was my favorite game growing up and I still love it to this day
-You can also found tetra ship model in Linebeck 3rd shop in ST.
-In PH ghost ship you're escorting sisters which turned out to be boss this also happens in LOTP that girl you're escorting turned out to be a boss.
-Sister in ph also shares an uncanny resemblance to Poe's sister in oot
-Sister called diabolical "cubus" sister and it still an e-rated game.
I like this style. I feel both dumb and smart watching it. I love it!
I still can't believe it took me like 35 years to learn of that Zelda 2 easter egg.
man that must be so cool, to be immortalized in such an iconic Zelda game
Elvis truely is a lucky guy
Always something new to learn about BOTW that helps me appreciate it even more. Such an amazing game❤
You forgot to mention the portrait painting Easter eggs inside Hyrule castle you can see from Zelda’s courtyard in ocarina of time.
Probably too many Easter eggs to count in BoTW but you can see the shadows of loft wings when the dragons disappear into clouds!
Instead of 'Keep it between us' for the Chris Houlihan room, it would have been neat if it had read 'This place is a secret to everybody!'
Great video idea I’m excited to watch
A better Phantom Hourglass easter egg would be the guy who cosplays as Link and designs his boat after the King of Red Lions
Me: (there's no way I don't know all of the...)
Zeltik: "did you know the dungeons in the first Zelda form the word Zelda?"
Me: *What* ".... Ehmmmm... Yes i totally did but I forget things you know..."
These are “easter eggs”, but for long time fans like me, none of them were new. Little disappointed because Zeltik usually includes new mind blowing facts in his videos.
God I love Zelda. Never put it down since 2000 and I STILL learn about new Easter eggs even when I thought I knew them all (had no idea the dungeons in the first game spelled out ZELDA). Amazing
Best Zelda channel there is🙏
this guy makes me want to play every single zelda game ever
Hey, he told you to keep the secret!!
Zelda and easter eggs is the best mix for a yt vid, it is amazing.
I new the one of 'between worlds'
but I didn't know the rest.
AWesome vid man ^^
I learned several secrets! Much enjoyed.
Neat analysis video! Thanks for uploading!
Easter eggs are one of the best things about Zelda, especially because they're theory fuel!
Finally some recognition for the best 2d Zelda game and one of the best tracks too! Royal Crypt is only bested by the upper Wind Temple.
Great vid as always. Some of these where new to me. Some not so much. Thanks for the vid.
Love the frames u put in the videos
