Dislike: 1) the small kitchen/no counter space/no convection oven, 2) the dinky bathroom and 3) cannot manage a corner bed. Like: 1) the big dinette (but not the table), 2) the exterior storage and 3) you guys! You two are the best part of each review!
This is the same design of my 2008 Georgiboy ( Coachmen) Maverick 213 QB , does have convection oven, paid 65,000 Canadian plus tax new in BC .We love it, still going strong! Buy it!
That motor home is very reasonably priced, and with a few relatively cheap modifications could be made into something special. The cargo carrying capacity is phenomenal, the tank sizes, (especially the fresh water) are generous, the generator runs off the fuel tank, and most importantly ... NO SLIDES! Swap out the toilet, install a roof ladder, change the faucet hardware, add some flip-up counter space, install a convection microwave, remove that shelf under the sink for some trash can room, install a Fantastic Fan, slap a TV up on the bedroom wall, and Bingo! Maybe later on I would add some solar and battery power so I could get a residential fridge and a soft start mechanism for the AC, but that stuff could wait.
I agree with Andrea! Coachman should add lagoon tables in their dinettes because they are space savers in the way of LEG ROOM. They also provide versatility to the people. Then I agree with Matt on the toilet! Come on Coachman- with 4500lb weight capacity- a porcelain toilet is a MUST! However, I stinkin love this RV! ♥️
Three things I like 1. I very much enjoy the price instead of having to buy one that's from 2013 I can afford this one, and I'll be the first in my family to own one so this is a really great entry level for someone like me. 2. I really love the u-shaped dinette as that is going to double as my desk, I've been looking for a small RV that has the u-shaped dinette and this is one of the few I found so far very excited about that. 3. I also agree with Matt he had had excellent storage more than enough for anyone. Three things I dislike 1. I would have preferred a ladder 2. I would have liked the arm on the TV to swing out perpendicular, so would it have better sight line when your Dinette. 3. The only major drawback to this is it doesn't have built-in solar panels, and Matt didn't mention that it has any external hookups 4. I agree with Matt and Andrea having the extendable countertop would have been nice and would have added much to the price if any at all and having the table spin would have been really nice. Question can you have the sink in the bathroom removed?
Rock on you 2! 3 likes: no slides, 2 way fridge and over all size. 3 dislikes: toilet material and position, small kitchen counter and no outside kitchen.
We have a 2009 Coachmen 2130qb...this same floorplan - we have the u dinette...they changed the dinette in 2010 to that funky one that you talked about and now in 2020 back to what the dinette should be - a U shaped dinette - took them 10 years to figure that one out! We also have the end counter extension - why they would not put that in is CRAZY and CHEAPPP! - You absolutely need it. They still just install a wardrobe closet where they should be putting shelves at least on one side of it. COACHMEN LISTEN: if you dont put an oven in then put in a convection microwave! - totally ridiculous! BUT we still really like our coachmen...easy to drive and park and has the basics! plus AZDEL siding! A MUST! Its small but it does the job! PLUS ours came stock with a porcelain toilet! Stop pinching pennies Coachmen! AT $60K+ ... all those things I stated could have been included! OH and where are the privacy curtains that used to come stock in it?
Like: storage under bed; u dinette, sleeping area over cab. Dislike: no side camera; no fiberglass cap over cab; no ladder; no TV mount in bedroom. Another entertaining video Matt and Andrea, good job.
THIS!!!! This is what I like!!! Ok, cons... no oven or convection oven, the dump station is a bit more recessed than I like, and finally, a wood interior is a must for me(oak, pine, cedar, maple). Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't turn this down if it were a gift!!! The pros for me, CARGO space!!! I need to put my recumbent in there... I refuse to keep a $7000 machine on a rack on the outside of the coach!!! 2nd pro is the leg space of the Chevy chassis. Finally, the back up camera is a must. Congrats on the 60K subs!!! I love how you include your 4-legged family member... my dog will be traveling with me when I do get an RV and these things need to be critter friendly!!!
Likes: Storage on the outside, larger fridge. Dislikes: No ladder, corner bed, dinette, no extension near the kitchen sink and no oven. I just bought the Coachmen Freelander 21Rs and I love it. It has a small slide in bedroom for the walk around bed. The only thing I don't like is the bathroom setup. I think the sink and toilet could be reversed for comfort. I don't spend much time in there so it's not a deal breaker.
KEEP ON SKIPPEN MATT. LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. I really like the U shaped dinettes too and I like the shower. and yea it needs a convection oven and ladder outside. not a bad little R.V though.
I loved that back door in the 2020 and almost bought it but went with the larger 27xgf! The storage in this one is still great but better in the 2020. Glad they added a back up camera this year!
Likes: Large U-shaped dinette Outside storage High CCC Dislikes: No countertop space - as Andrea mentioned an extension would be absolutely necessary Shower curtain will probably leak when taking a shower No place for storing glasses etc. during the night (at least little shelves would be helpful) Thanks for the great review - Andrea, I love your shirt!
I totally agree with Diana B’s likes and dislikes! I do think the storage is phenomenal but I can get a lot more space and slide outs for the price in a travel trailer. Great job again Matt and Andrea!!
Hi M&A. Dislikes, No stove, no convection, need more counterspace, Toilet is plastic. Like big sink, like the dinette area, bed looks fine. Rock on guys.
I agree with Matt and Andrea's likes the extra large outside storage, large banquet/bed and the larger fridge that is up off of floor. 3 things I dislike 1 need an oven or microwave/convection oven. 2 lack of counter space. A cover over the sink or an extension by door 3 toilet not porcelain.
Three things I like: Chevy chassis, Azdel sidewalls, no slide-outs. Three things I don't like: absorption fridge, awkwardly placed plastic toilet, no one piece fiberglass roof/front cap.
#coachmen COACHMEN! You guys are getting better! We're getting close now!! LIKES: The dinette. No slides. Great price. WHAT NEEDS TO CHANGE: (1) Remove that unnecessary wardrobe and extend the bathroom out and add a porcelin toilet. Think of what an amazing bathroom this could be with that change!! I take my hat off to Coachmen and Nate for listening. Shrinking the storage down from the 20XG to make the bed easier to access was a fantastic idea. I'm planning on buying me a coachmen in 2021 but I'm still waiting for that unicorn of full electric, small and sensible layout. I feel it is going to happen soon...
Being a future solo driver, definitely another great option. Am loving that outside storage as I have many things to store. Now if I can just get Coachman to give me one............... :)
Dislikes: no convection microwave, no porcelain toilet, no outside ladder. Likes: no need for a slide out, the U shaped dinet, the walking space. Good price.

I'm not sure about this one. When Matt SQUEEZED into the ushape dinette, that whole setup looked like it was made for a doll house. And because of no slideouts I'd feel like I was in a coffin. The bedroom I love. I need to watch this again.
Likes 1. Big outside storage 2. Roomy drivers/passenger seat 3. Price!!!! Dislikes 1. No slides 2. No counter space 3. No ladder to see Matt climb on the roof Got our stickers today! Thanks Matt!!
You know...I could do this. Dislikes: The blinds are terrible and would be the first to go; Andrea is completely on the money with the counter space issue; the lack of toilet space speaks for itself. Likes: HOLY COW, that storage space!!!; at 6’6”, I can stand and fit...mostly...on the bed; not too many frills. It’s meant to be pretty basic and fits the role well.
Dislikes shower door looks real flimsy and I doubt it would last. Toilet is a huge no. Now unfortunately I have two runners for 3.needs convection oven and the overhead space needs to be better used not just for TV. Loved the storage inside and out. And as a cook I love the fact it has a full fridge and the stove looks big enough to do the job.
That is one great little rv for a great price. I agree with everything you both said as to the likes and dislikes. That dinette table would be a real winner on a swivel arm. Thanks for showing us this rv.
Great review again, get her in the air! Pro:size, great storage, great weight limit, no slide, price! Cons; no solar, no ladder, exterior hookup exposed, chevy chassis
Why is it so damn hard to find out how many seatbelts are in these things. They list specs everywhere, but you'd think people would want to know if they can fit their family or not. Insane.
Totally agree with your likes and dislikes on this one. It will definitely make my short list when I'm ready! One general comment on almost all motorhomes. It seem like when they added LEDs to the awning they did away with the porch light. I don't always put out my awning but still need the light.
I Love all the outside storage, Love the no slides. Love the dining room table. Love the shower. Dislikes no oven, no flip up counter in kitchen. Toilet can't wipe your butt cabinet in the way.
GREAT JOB YOU TWO , 60 K SUBS. FANTASTIC!!!!! However, you want to know about this RV. Sorry but I have to disqualify myself because I have only had trouble with the Chevys I have owned (one was a TIOGA and another one was a PACE ARROW). Since I’m 65 I don’t have time to mess around with a lot of problems with poor quality power trains I’m just trying to spend time having fun ,not fixing things!! Having been a life time builder I realize a house can only be as good as the foundation it’s built on!!! Since that’s true it really doesn’t matter what I think about the rest of RV!! 🤷🏻♂️But I’m not bitter, just careful with my time!!✌️LOVE YOU GUYS!!
Comment for the algorithm: Matt/Andrea, it would be nice, maybe in the opening if you mentioned who the target demographic would be for your MH's. This obviously would be for the first time buyer that maybe has been a tent camper, etc. My buddy works security for train shows (Model trains). This would be better for him than sleeping on a mattress in his Suburban! Notice how they've done a better job on the plumbing fixtures. Better than the old white plastic days.
I like the small profile/no slide.(My husband would not agree) He would like the Chevrolet brand, however. Crawlover beds @ my age and bladder, not good, but is what it is. Nice size fridge. Bathroom is tolerable, but not in love. No oven? I can usually make meals on anything. George Foreman to the rescue! (Shore powered) I'd buy it, but wouldn't want to hear him complaining the whole trip, so....
Pros: U shaped dinette, fridge has separate freezer, large shower, underneath storage Con: Potty not placed well, no side mirrors, counter space, no ladder, placement of TV
Really like this one for hubby and me plus our dogs 🐕. We would replace the toilet with porcelain and relocate the tp holder😄 overall it work be great for us.
If it has a bathroom vanity above the sink, a flip-up for extra kitchen counter space, and a regular dinette, I would jump on this. It doesn’t even have a window in the cab-over, or ceiling fans (let alone MaxxAir fans...) But thins would be the one.
We love our 2014, not much has changed but am disappointed they got away with the ladder and outside entertainment center (both items we have on ours). Love your vids and we continue to try and grow our new channel. Thanks Matt!
Ok this is a great entry C class RV! I love the price, I like the dinette, and I like the floor. I do not like the plastic toilet, I do not like the corner bed, I do not like no oven or convection oven. This RV is great for first timers in the RV world. Folks stepping up from like tent camping or fold out trailer type camping would be perfect for this or a family with a smaller budget but desirous of the great benefits of RV life! It is the only war to travel!! Great job and thanks guys!!
Needs: shelf for Cpap machine... was there even an outlet in the bedroom area? Two legs on table probably because if it’s used as a bed, you would need stability... im guessing... Oven/convection oven... could care less.. you can do tons with microwave and stovetop.... (salads only need fridge, Matt . 😉 )
The 3 things I don't like: 1. two legs on the dinette table: I would prefer one leg and the lagoon table Andrea mentioned 2. I'm combining the lack of counter space in the kitchen, the microwave that is not a convection oven, and the shelf under the sink, can't put a trashcan under there 3. not a lot of room between the toilet and the counter and the toilet paper holder is too low The 3 things I do like: 1. size of the refrigerator 2. the capital "U" u-shaped dinette 3. rear basement storage
The prices of these are still too high, but, overall a solid and simple layout--needs that counter extension--sure it would be in front of the entry door, but if you are cooking when all are inside, it is really useful. Good sized fridge. Corner bed is always sketchy, but I get it. But, the deal killer is that toilet position--am I really supposed to pay over 50K for something I can't sit/fit on?!?! Really bewildering how this so often the case. Thanks for another review.
It's not much larger than a class B but with a ton more space and because the demand for B's is high, so are their prices. Having had 2 Coachmen RV's over the years they do have good quality and make RV's that last. This one seems so much a better alternative to anyone looking at a B or B+. What I wish ALL RV manufacturers would offer - Insulated/heated tanks, 4WD/AWD capability, the new Sprinters are AWD capable, Reinforced roof areas and hard points for solar/thule racks/cargo baskets/etc. With the exception of AWD, these are relatively inexpensive to implement.
Love the overall size and that Outside Storage is great! Next for me are Tow capacity and then the relative sizes of the shower, overhead sleeper and dinette/sleeper in such a small RV. In a perfect world I could always use some more kitchen and pantry storage...thanks for the review 🤙
I love 1- the exterior storage 2- the cargo capacity 3- no slides Three things I don’t like 1- leg room on toilet 2- microwave needs to be convection. 3- the laptop tray on passenger seat. I wish
Likes, 1) Outside storage 2) Nice size propane and electric fridge, not a 12 volt compressor fridge 3) Decent price...... Dislikes, 1) Much rather have a sofa or theater seats 2) Toilet is nearly unusable 3) No convection oven or counter space
This definitely targets a particular budget group so you can't have everything. But the dinette, storage and cargo carrying capacity is the best thing about this class C. I like how you both pick out the little things one might not noticed. For example, that the table on the dinette doesn't swivel.
I realize that there are only a few ways to do a floor plan in particular size RVs, but isn't this very similar to the Thor Four Winds and others? Have you ever thought about doing a comparison by brand of similar floor plans and price points? You brought Coachmen to my consideration with the Cross Trek you reviewed (though I would likely go with a different floor plan from the 22XG) Likes: 1) no windows in the cab over bunk that could leak 2) U shaped dinette 3) over/under fridge freezer Dislikes: 1) Shore power connection in the back is different and I'm not sure how I feel about that 2) Kitchen counter space 3) the blinds - the one that Matt tried to raise in the dinette crumbled, plus I am not a fan of the mini-blinds used in the kitchen
Glad they brought it back. Nice floor plan. I like the small size. I like the big outside storage I like the shower size and curves curtain. I dislike no ladder I dislike the plastic toilet and location. Swap the sink and toilet, you would have more room to achieve PPP. I dislike the super cheap kitchen faucet and no counter extension. I wish manufacturers would put some higher end stuff in those small motor homes. Maybe call it an Elite package or something. But put a porcelain toilet, nice faucets and metal sinks. A better microwave. Fantastic fans. I can swap all these things in but it would be nice to have it bought that way.
It would be nice if they brought back the extra kitchen counter pull up, oven, moon shape couch, exterior TV storage from 2019. Everthing else is good.
We have a 2009 2130qb that is almost exact to this floorplan and its pretty easy to mount the rear tv in..plus you can mount a small dvd player under the cabinet by tv there...or get tv with dvd built in...this is a great simple floorplan and we really like ours...good storage too for such a small rv...easy to drive as well!
I love your shirt Andrea! What a great job you guys continue to do with the reviews! We have looked at class c RVs in the past trying to decide what we wanted, however the main reason we decided to stick with our TT is due to space and storage!
Don't like the dinette, the bed that makes you crawl over each other, or the shower door. Like, the size, outdoor storage and looking for a 3rd. With a unit that is that small, is a large dinette table needed or that as an extra bed? Maybe something smaller or free standing. Can maybe expand counter space by covering the sink?
Little small but for a starter RV may fit the bill. Likes storage in back , seating around table , windows in bed room area. Dislikes kitchen space , toilet. Great view thanks 👍
Dump station location, no, toilet, no, counter space extention no. Like everything else and the price point is very good. Good review and Andrea is looking lovely as ever and Matt is looking a lot slimer. Stay the course brother and ya'll stay safe.
This motor home in my opinion is designed for a specific group of users. A single person or a couple who are really in love. The extra sleeping spaces are fine but if you had that many people or kids you would be going stir crazy before you got to your first red light. The Price is Right and it does reflect you get what you pay for. Having said that I must say those who situations warrant such a RV have a real bargain here. Yes it could use a ladder.
3 Likes: 1: Huge exterior storage compartment 2: Bed is not on a slide or a foldable type and is usable all the time 3: Big U-Shaped Dinette 3 Dislikes: 1: Flimsy and really cheap looking blinds 2: Counter space is non-existent 3: No oven or convection microwave
Art Deco and Camping just goes together. Likes: 1. stove top/fridge 2. Shower 3. Dinette 4. Outside storage Dislikes: 1. No side camera. Safety first. If it’s economical for most cars then this RV should have been equipped with side cameras. 2. it’s an automatic $10k off the asking price for the website/FB/IG decals. I’m not advertising for the company. 3 countertop space. I do like the size of this RV and it has a lot of pluses. The deal breaker for me would be the side cameras.
It's nice for a get away RV...everything in it is doable, capacity weight is great , just don't like the shower door , toilet can put a porcelain in it...for the price it ain't bad....
@coachmen should give us options/choices on build. Convection, microwave or oven; moon or u shaped couch; exterior tv storage or not; corner or murphy bed; plastic or porcelain toilet.
Dislike: 1) the small kitchen/no counter space/no convection oven, 2) the dinky bathroom and 3) cannot manage a corner bed. Like: 1) the big dinette (but not the table), 2) the exterior storage and 3) you guys! You two are the best part of each review!

Insane.
My three favorites
1 That basement storage
2 The price
3 The rear bed
Stuff I dislike
1 The toilet
2 Lack of counter space.
I love it..... Wish india has coachmen.
And love you Andrea also and mat
Not sure what's more impressive. The u-shaped dinette or Matt's vertical.
Only ever need to find one thing to like as long as Matt and Andrea keep taking the top 2 spots.
Wholeheartedly agree, being built on the cheapest chassis doesn’t help the buyer who has to depend on the thing.
I love the storage, fridge, and no slides. I dislike the toilet set up, no convection oven, and counter space.
I like no slides.Powerful engine
Pros: U shaped dinette, fridge has separate freezer, large shower, underneath storage
Con: Potty not placed well, no side mirrors, counter space, no ladder, placement of TV
Congratulations on 60k subscribers. Keep the great videos coming.
The 3 things I don't like:
1. two legs on the dinette table: I would prefer one leg and the lagoon table Andrea mentioned
2. I'm combining the lack of counter space in the kitchen, the microwave that is not a convection oven, and the shelf under the sink, can't put a trashcan under there
3. not a lot of room between the toilet and the counter and the toilet paper holder is too low
The 3 things I do like:
1. size of the refrigerator
2. the capital "U" u-shaped dinette
3. rear basement storage
If That table is removable I like the u shaped dinette. Otherwise, big NO. I want a couch! Also, isn't it a PITB to make a corner bed?
Likes exterior, interior, & 350 lb sleeping over cab. Dislikes no ladder, no convection oven, & no under bed storage access from inside.
I think it should have a convection microwave and have an extension to the counter top.
Large storage. No slides. Good size bathroom. You guys are great 👍
Love Andreas top! Very colorful
Thanks 😊
I love 1- the exterior storage 2- the cargo capacity 3- no slides Three things I don’t like 1- leg room on toilet 2- microwave needs to be convection. 3- the laptop tray on passenger seat. I wish
Love the review
Great example of what you can get in a small rv. I could see this being great for people that want a small rv
Bold geometric shapes, check
Made in the 20s, check
The valence IS art deco, unless you're going to be a stickler about 1920 vs 2020.
Definitely need TV in the bed area, agree with Andrea need extra counter. Ok for small and cheaper end unit
I realize that there are only a few ways to do a floor plan in particular size RVs, but isn't this very similar to the Thor Four Winds and others? Have you ever thought about doing a comparison by brand of similar floor plans and price points? You brought Coachmen to my consideration with the Cross Trek you reviewed (though I would likely go with a different floor plan from the 22XG)
Likes:
1) no windows in the cab over bunk that could leak
2) U shaped dinette
3) over/under fridge freezer
Dislikes:
1) Shore power connection in the back is different and I'm not sure how I feel about that
2) Kitchen counter space
3) the blinds - the one that Matt tried to raise in the dinette crumbled, plus I am not a fan of the mini-blinds used in the kitchen
Glad they brought it back. Nice floor plan.
I like the small size.
I like the big outside storage
I like the shower size and curves curtain.
I dislike no ladder
I dislike the plastic toilet and location.
Neat little “let’s get away for the weekend quickly” motorhome or tailgating. Toaster ovens for the win.
Love it. Only one dislike no tv in bedroom. Love the size and price🚍
Thanks 😊
Don't like the dinette, the bed that makes you crawl over each other, or the shower door. Like, the size, outdoor storage and looking for a 3rd. With a unit that is that small, is a large dinette table needed or that as an extra bed? Maybe something smaller or free standing. Can maybe expand counter space by covering the sink?
Cute shirt, Andrea! Great jobs, guys! Matt, you are doing so great with the weight loss! Keep up the good work! (Jane)
Thanks 😊
I always love her little outfits.
Little small but for a starter RV may fit the bill. Likes storage in back , seating around table , windows in bed room area. Dislikes kitchen space , toilet. Great view thanks 👍
So amazed at how usable this little rig is i might actually consider it this this is very nice
You guys are doing great!
🤗👍
3 Likes:
1: Huge exterior storage compartment
2: Bed is not on a slide or a foldable type and is usable all the time
3: Big U-Shaped Dinette
3 Dislikes:
1: Flimsy and really cheap looking blinds
2: Counter space is non-existent
3: No oven or convection microwave
I love that it has no tip outs
Art Deco and Camping just goes together.
Likes: 1. stove top/fridge 2. Shower 3. Dinette 4. Outside storage
Dislikes: 1.
Congratulation on 60K Subs! 😎👍
Thanks so much 🤗🎉👍
I like the bracket that the tv is on. It looks like it can move forward more. Awesome outdoor storage.
