I have never tried a product from Juvia's Place so when they came out with a new palette, The Saharan, I decided to give them a shot. Watch to see how the palette worked out for me!

Hi Mel! Nice look! Girl...you apologize too much. I doubt that anyone is judging you on your speech quality. If there really is a critique organization out there that critiques these videos and then rates their quality - then I apologize for telling you not to sweat that stuff. I honestly return to your channel for updates that you share - not how you share them. I enjoy learning how to apply the products with the little tips you share. You ALWAYS qualify your opinion with usage, demos, sometimes a second try. What you present in your videos is your honest opinion after using the product and in comparison to others you have used. You are not insulting someone because they like it. It is a fair evaluation on your part, and an honest accounting of your preferences. Thanx for sharing your thoughts and techniques. I'm sorry you get comments like that. I would think viewers would take what they can get from your research and use it to their advantage, and then move on. So glad you reviewed this. I've seen mixed reviews on their other palettes - even two opposite opinions of it from the same person. Like did you forget you told us all how good it was, now you're telling us it's just so-so? I'm so glad I can trust your reviews. Your honesty is very much appreciated!!

Mel!! I so so appreciate your honesty about Morphe. I went to their retail location in Burbank. When I first swatched a couple of shadows with my fingers I thought hmm... that's pretty pigmented. Then I tried to use one of their sample brushes to swatch the shadow. The brush didn't pick up the shadow. I was like wait... Because of the hype I was in the store for like 30 minutes trying to figure out why everyone was so in awe of this company. Let me tell you. I am a makeup junky. It is SO HARD for me to leave a makeup store wit out buying product. I went to my car in disbelief that I didn't buy one thing. I actually ended up going to Naimies to discover they now carry Kat Von D. I picked up two liquid foundations, lipstick and 4 tattoo eyeliners. In short, you're so right, MORPHE is Whack. I know it's like $20 a palette but you get what you pay for. One chick was like well I rather use my finger. I just gave her the side eye and walked out Lol.. Ok I wrote a book.

This is the first video of yours I have seen you have a great personality and are fun to watch. I see in the comments some are saying a Juvias place is a private label like morphie and it's not. The Juvias place formula was created in the USA but they had it made in chine to cut costs because buying a factory is expensive. Stephanie Nicole did a great but very long video on this brand and talks about the formula. I love the Juvias place and can't stand Morphie that's a private label for crown. So I'm just putting that info out there for any who care. I love your the look you created! Your ink is stunning! Have a lovely day.

I finally took the plunge on JP, ordered this one and the Masquerade, thought those 2 would be a good representation of the brand
I actually own all the Juvia's palettes, I'm super obsessed with anything related to Egypt & when I seen these & the packaging I had to have them just to put on display!!! If you liked the quality of the shadows then you'll def like the other palettes from them!!!

I'm also not a fan of Morphe at all. The shadows I've gotten suck. The brushes shed like crazy and the ferrules have loosened quickly.
I love my Viseart natural matte palette. SO. MUCH. The colors of this palette interest me. I'll check it out! Thanks!
the very Victoria looks great - I have it in a mini - so cute and like you I've wasted a ton on morphe products - never again - whatever they bring out. I think I may just get this palette, a few colours I don't have 🎀

I seriously fell in love with Juvias place the quality for the cost was crazy when I got it. They are just so easy to work with and they feel amazing. I always use a soft brush so idk maybe that helps but I love that I can use my tarte ugly as hell shadows as a base then use these over the top for a real wow look! I live in very rural mt so getting good quality make up is a risk. Seriously I order and suddenly it arrives on a day at -20 and apparently makeup does not like that I have had weird reactions. This arrived perfect though and other than some Uber expensive brands that I maybe get once a year. I won't pay a ton for anything I can't try. I'm looking forward to a Sephora trip before long.
So pretty. I haven't picked up a pallet from them yet either, I was waiting for a pallet to really grab me because like you said those other pallet I do have very similar colors. And this palette as well I think I have some similar but not complete so I think I'm going to wait till I go to Imats in New York and hopefully They'll have that pallet there and I'm going to get it there thank you for the video

Thank goodness! I just ordered my first palette from them, the masquerade since it's limited edition, so I'm glad they are good shadows! I haven't really wanted to purchase any Morphe shadows, but I have been interested in their brushes because of the price point. Are their brushes meh too?
I have never bought their brushes. Brushes are my favorite makeup item so I want them to last. A friend of mine has them and says that they don't last so I haven't bothered
Puffins Wife thank you for responding. I'm just now starting out building my collection and I know it's worth it to spend money on quality products that actually last and do a good job. Everybody makes it sound like they are fabulous even though they are cheaper. I've had crap brushes and can definitely tell a difference in all my looks when using higher quality.
I've got a few real techniques brushes! I do like them and they do work, but I also know there is better out there. I know it's mostly personal preference, but I don't mind dropping money on good brushes, just don't want to get the wrong ones! Guess I can try a few from some higher end brands and then decide who to get my collections from. Thanks ladies!
Most def! I just don't live around any stores and don't get out much with the kiddos, so I rely on the internet unfortunately. My husband would much rather I invest in something a little more expensive that will last than to end up spending more money on stuff that falls apart repeatedly or isn't a better quality
Jeralyn C. I have a bunch of Morphe brushes I don't use. I use my e.l.f brushes more. My Sigma and MAC brushes are my absolute favorites. They're worth it even if you get one at a time. My Sigma F80 and MAC 217 are two I can't live without.

STEPHANIE HARRIS ha ha! No worries! It's basically when a shadow gets a tough layer on top and you have to scrape off layers to be able to even try to use it again
thank u I've been thinking about getting that palette it has sum colors like what's in the Abh modern renaissance palette and I can't wear those shadows they make me wanna claw my eyes out there's something in them that I can't wear. it's cheaper than that palette too.

I was skeptical of this palette too. Like you know how peoples lighting makes everything appear way different? I thought that black shade was a blackened teal color, then iman looked like a baby blue shimmer shadow. 😓 I wanted to cry when I found out it was just a white shade.
Yea,It looks like it may have a little blue in it but then you really don 't see it on the lid
I was thinking the same kinda scared that it will be like morphe cuz i dont like their shadow but i gave juvias a chance and get some juvias palette and im really impress. Its not like morphe no comparaison but the price.... Definitly better quality.
I'd love to see a dupe for that lip color. It's stunning but a bit pricy =)
i cant use juvias shadows or morphe shadows on my eyes-- something in both brands makes my eyes itch really bad

Morphe is way too overhyped. I purchased a few palettes, weren't bad for the price, but didn't make me orgasmic like some UA-camrs.
Oh I have same feeling with you, I watch so much UA-cam video always say this is good .....but ..... I'm not that rich I can't buy all then rubbish For me I would like it to be a wearable and special style both of one ! Or basically blend easy and not after few hours will like tacky all fail out !
Morphe is full of mineral oil and parabens. Hype train for sure. Drives me a bit twitchy as a professional.
