Awesome video! Glad you guys found some big ones even if they got off! That's how they keep you coming back. You guys really captured how beautiful the scenery is in the area.
I’ve tried so many times on my nip trips to try and get burbs just haven’t been in the right spots. That must have been a hell of a fight on a perch rod
It was a hell of a fight - 6lb fluoro, no leader and using a St Crois Mojo ultralight rod 28 inches long equipped with a Shimano Sedona 500 series spinning rod. Tipped with a 1/4 oz. jighead and 2 inch shiner. Only place i have had luck chasing burbs on Nip is around the Manitous which is where I was jigging in about 27 feet of water.@@CastandConquer
BURBS!!! In my experience with the mega live the last couple years, it was common to see them come in a few feet off bottom , and when they get close they swim down and hug bottom and disappear from the live before getting a hit
Nothing gets the adrenaline flowing like a little pike juggling!
Teeth just flying everywhere
Love your buddies excitement. Great content
Thanks so much!! Steve makes for great content. Always great energy

Awesome to know. It seemed like the suspended fish that came in had a hard time commuting compared to the fish that came in on the bottom
Mediun gold dinner bell with a minnow crushes on that lake
Never even tried the bells
Living vicariously through yall only got out on the ice 3 times this year michigans ice season sucked this year
It was a sad sad year. Our ice is gone now. I’ve been in the boat all week.
