I never actually saw this one before, all I know is that Pelo made it, then when it came out, Arin Hanson, AKA Egoraptor, raised a huge stink about it, saying that what Pelo did was mean, that he got made fun of all the time for the cartoons he made and it sucked, used the fact that only "old school-Newgrounds" were congratulating him (even though Arin WAS an old school Newgrounds type himself) with few “STAs” commenting on it "speaks volumes" (though it's worth noting that StoryTime Animators weren't speaking up at all about this, positively or negatively, so it feels like Arin is white knighting over nothing), and ended with saying the video only served to segregate groups of people who just want to create and connect with one-another. Although a lot of people, including former friends of his like Chris "OneyNG" O'Neill (who's likely no longer friends with Arin BECAUSE of this, though I can't be certain), called out Arin for being overly-defensive of this, Pelo himself was respectable enough to acknowledge Arin's point and even apologize, while stating that not only was it not his intent to hurt the STA community as a whole, he is actually a fan of several STA people and deliberately tried to replicate their style as opposed to going for the basic "they don't move" jokes that most people go for when mocking STA, while also adding that he also gets similar crap for his work but is able to acknowledge when people are just joking. Overall, it just feels like needless drama over a video that was made in good fun.

Pretty much every animator that was actually parodied was cool about it so I really don’t know what his problem was

The Pelones Review is a particularly fantastic video.
Story time animations have kinda become a genre after TheOdd1sOut became successful with his format, in that video all the characters were references to various story time animators.
