Now, that's how you drive. Takes a truck load of experience to drive something like that. Probably the most exciting thing the town has seen in a while.
Steven Allen The most exciting thing I've seen in Barmouth was a raven haired lass called Myffanwy. We used to go running together. Myffanwy liked to wear a short skirt, tight T-shirt, and not much else. Running behind her strained the groniccles!
It’s a lot more difficult than it looks from the sidelines. Good drivers & steer men make it appear easy, a bad pair can get into a world of trouble very quickly.
@@tonyshanley3277 Yes agreed; there are many cowboys out there who dont know what they're doing. Having said that, with over 3.1 million kilometers under my belt and 26 years of driving trucks of all shapes and sizes, I think I can speak with a small degree of knowledge.
Astonishing driving skills these specialist heavy haulers have. although I have one stupid question, why were they not transported via the rail network and say pulled by a locomotive? That said these drivers are skilled beyond words!
The front of the trailer disconnects and lowers to the floor, and a ramp is built from the trailer to the tracks. The truck reverses to the back of trailer and connects a Winch to the loco to roll it off
Especially of you count the independent steering on the trailer as extra points. I would probably describe it as one of the most complicated U-turns ever.
How to make difficult look easy.
All done calmly with no drama, raised voices or strain on machinery. Respect.

mostly down to the bloke at the back
100 percent perfection
Lets not forget that the rear end of the float also steers, so this was not quite as difficult as it appears to a layman.
Oh it was

It wasn’t to bad as we didn’t touch a curb
Magnificent work by Allelys crew. The very best.
Reminds me of a joke. “Fucking good driver (spit). Fucking good driver”

The railway was blocked due to bridge damage. That's explained on the company's own UA-cam film of the event.
@@Clivestravelandtrains Thanks for the explanation, much appreciated.
@@moogmike1 well that but also I dont think the network could cope with a 200 tonne locomotive
Operator 👍👍
The obstructing car drove away at the end!

Noteboom trailers all steered hydraulically are amazing
This trailer was a Goldhofer
@@redkevful my bad I went by colour and made an assumption
No problem, if I hadn't read it on the side I'd have thought it was a Noteboom
T555 AHH MADE THREE POINT TURN WITH CAR IN THE WAY REMEMBER THAT
Super DAF
Great videos
How does the train get down off the lorry?
With either a crane or if it has bogies, on some temporary track
The front of the trailer disconnects and lowers to the floor, and a ramp is built from the trailer to the tracks. The truck reverses to the back of trailer and connects a Winch to the loco to roll it off
The twist was the car was owned by the person taking the video! ( not really coz it drove away whilst the video was still going)
Plot twist, the car was stolen while they were filming.
@@Zacht1980 it looked like a disabled driver.?
But which was the car in the way, there's three to choose from?
His buddy's truck was also in his way, perhaps even more so than the car🤔. Nicely done though!👍
Nah. The car was more in the way because of the trailer's tail swing and the trailer would just take the car out
Tremendous without BREXIT this could never of happened
Brilliant
Steerable back wheels
Im no mathematical genius but I'm pretty sure that was more than 3 points to make the turn.. ?
