I know of multiple classics that are forgotten 2017 NLCS game 2 Cubs at Dodgers ended with walk off by Justin turner. 2012 NLDS game 4 cardinals at nationals (Jason Werth walk off home run) Red Sox at Orioles game 162 2011 (you know the game that got the rays in the postseason) Royals at Indians 2017 (22 game winning streak) Athletics at royals AL wild card game 2014 Cardinals at Giants game 5 (Travis ishikawa walk off home run) Philadelphia At Miami 2010 (Roy Halliday perfect game) Cardinals vs Pirates 14th inning thriller from 2016 or 2017 I can go on with many classics there are if you don’t already you could show rays vs Yankees game 162
Would you be able to put in the description what the significance is for these types of games for the forgotten classics. We don't need it if it's in the playoffs, but the announcers didn't mention that this game was for the Braves season until the last play. Thanks!
@@coconutbandit02 well Red Sox orioles game 162 is significant because the orioles had a ninth inning rally that knocked the Red Sox out of the postseason which led to the rays coming back from down 7 to stun the Yankees and clinch the final playoff spot
Do Padres vs Rockies game 163 in 2007. It had everything: lead changes, a grand slam to erase a deficit, and the dramatic walk-off finish to decide who gets into the playoffs. And of course, the infamous play where Holiday never touched home plate.
This is the game that made us know that the Cardinals were winning the World Series because they wouldn't even be there if it wasn't for Atlanta choking again.
Honestly, if you think about it, the biggest loser of this game was the Phillies. SB Nation (Secret Base) just released their collapse video regarding the Phillies, and in my opinion, this game was the beginning of the end for them. By chasing the franchise record for wins, they put themselves in the worst possible playoff matchup they could've gotten, a scorching hot St. Louis Cardinals team in the NLDS. If they rest their starters against the Braves this series with nothing of playoff seeding to play for (would've had home field advantage throughout the entire playoffs since they had the best record in the majors combined with the NL winning the All Star Game), they could've lost their way to an easier matchup with the D'backs, and they very well may have won the World Series that year if it played out that way. Granted, as a Braves fan, I think that 2011 team maybe still would've found a way to lose even in those circumstances haha. But I digress. This win was the beginning of the end of the Phillies...and they're now in a 10 year playoff drought, the longest of any NL team
I mean who knows There would’ve been a one-game playoff for the wildcard in St. Louis and I don’t think the Braves would have won by the way they were playing in September
One of the most underrated games called ever. The game may not have been a slugfest, but it’s drama levels were through the roof. The fairytale ending has the braves winning this game, but the baseball gods can be evil sometimes.
Sorry Braves fans....
lol do you respond?
You should do the asdrubal Cabrera walk off, Mets vs Phillies 2016

I always click these forgotten classics because I love watching. but as a braves fan... just wish I hadn't clicked on this one to be honest.
hope your happy now
Nope, this game made 14 year old me cry that night. Love the forgotten classics but may need to skip this one 😞
Everyone remembers what happened in the AL on this day, but the NL had its own insane playoff race that not as many people remember.
Exactly what I was going for!

I'm not a fan of either of the teams involved in this historic day, but I find myself glued to each and every one of those games.
As a Cardinals fan, this was one of my favorite moments in recent history! Sorry Braves fans, but when Pence singled home that run I was stoked!
Understandable!
love this series. u should do padres rockies game 163 in 2007 that decided who won the division.
This is the game that made us know that the Cardinals were winning the World Series because they wouldn't even be there if it wasn't for Atlanta choking again.
i love these videos

After 8 months he is finally uploading a bunch of videos
Hehehe even tho this year ended so badly for us Phils fans, this was fun
Remember this game like yesterday
Let’s go CARDS!
11 in 11
This won my cards their last series!! Love chip now but cant help but smile when i hwar him say and the wildcard goes to st Louis lol. All sad.
If the Braves had won this game, Cardinals wouldn’t have had the wild card and won the World Series.
But 10 years later, the Braves get their ring
I mean who knows There would’ve been a one-game playoff for the wildcard in St. Louis and I don’t think the Braves would have won by the way they were playing in September
There was no wild card game in 2011. If the Braves won this game, they would have played a game 163 against the Cardinals.
@@AAAAA-es8zn I know there was no WC game in 2011, I was saying that like the WC spot
LOL, this must've been torture for Braves fans. Since they are still recovering from a 3-1 choke job.
Nah we good. How your team do this year?
@@atlbraves1983 oh they beat you guys in that 3-1 comeback and won the 2020 world series thank you very much ;)
Fortunate they redeemed themselves completely after last year and beat the Dodgers and won the World Series😁

I will never forget this game because if the Braves win this my cardinals don’t make he playoffs and David Freese never becomes a hero
Chase Utley and Chipper Jones: professionals
This got the card to the playoffs
You should start making old series recaps.
9:35
Braves fans after 99 be like
2:23 he was safe
It's the good braves bullpen acting like the bad braves bullpen
What is his outro music?
SHOULD’VE SOMEHOW SHOWN THE REPLAY TO BOURN GETTING CAUGHT STEALING
Phills with 3 starters through 7?
How about 2011 ALCS game 4
Do the orioles vs Red Sox where the orioles win of a dropped catch and win 4-3
How tf was bourn out at 3rd? He was safe by a mile
Do 2017 ALCS game 5
But the games score was 5-0 Yankees over Asterisks I mean Astros
You mean Game 4
1st
Nobody cares
