Hello I just installed this model in my vehicle and at first by clicking src I was able to see bt audio on display and now it just says aux-radio- and usb connect.. so I’m only able to use Bluetooth for iPhone while it’s plugged in to usb.. when trying to listen to music.. as for phone calls I’m connected without my charger cord..
It sounds like you've switched the Bluetooth Audio source off in the System Menu. It's very easy to switch it back on. You can see it on a very similar receiver here: ua-cam.com/video/Z6g0EOPZL0c/v-deo.html You can find a full playlist of How To videos about this receiver here: ua-cam.com/video/hiDOCp75UAI/v-deo.html and you can find more videos on Pioneer's UA-cam Channel here: ua-cam.com/users/pioneerelectronics
If you are looking for better signal quality, I recommend playing back WAV Files or FLAC files from a USB flash drive. You can see similar operation here: ua-cam.com/video/kKN9BkchGVY/v-deo.html If you are going to use a phone as your music storage and source, I recommend a USB connection. In many cases (music stored on the phone) this will bypass the phones internal DAC system and send a relatively unaltered digital signal to the in-dash audio system for playback. This also has the benefit of charging your connected phone. As a last option for sound quality, (and with music played from an app on the phone) Bluetooth. Be sure to adjust the volume on the phone up to about 85% to be sure to get a clean signal from the phone before adjusting the volume on the in-dash receiver. The Pioneer MVH-S310BT is fully functional without using the Pioneer Smart Sync app. The app simply gives you a graphical user interface to operate the in-dash receiver. When using settings like crossover points and slopes, or time alignment, the graphical user interface can make the in-dash receiver much easier to use. Please note, the MVH-S310BT has a 13 band EQ. When you use the Smart Sync app you have access to a 31 band EQ. Additionally, the MVH-S310BT does not include a wireless remote control. The phone operating the app is the remote control to operate the in-dash receiver.
