Good morning Big Orange Nation! What a start to the season, with so many great players and staff that we have up on the hill right now is impressive. Back to the top where Tennessee football should be! GBO 🍊🏈🧡💥
Idk where he lines up stat wise, but the eye test tells me Pili is my defensive mvp. Gets the guys lined up, helps in both run and pass, smart football player, and delivers a boom that sparks everyone else.
Every day. Always great to have a Ward Wednesday. And yea, Sampson is just a damn animal. He's our Mr. Everything Defensive MVP, probably Jermod McCoy for me. Dude has it.
Cainer: a great research for the mailbag question next week. Which offensive lineman has been the most successful that Heupal’s staff recruited out of high school? I ask this because I can’t think of one. We continue to hit the portal for OT’s. Hopefully David Sanders changes that. We need to do a better job developing offensive lineman.
I'm not sure how one gets into the mailbag, but one comment and one observation/question. James Pearce is just seeing more coverage aimed at him, but that makes the rest of the defense just that much better. Same thing happened with Reggie White in his junior season, making Mike Cofer the big play guy. In his senior season he dominated in a much better balanced defense. In watching the game (and now rewatching it), it seems like Nico consistently stares down his running back after handing it off. It seems like that would make it easy for a defensive back to tell where the ball is on any RPO. Is anyone else seeing the same thing (besides the DBs)?
I like either West as my MVP so far, or Pili. Pili looks like an animal. Hate to tell everyone, but Pearce isnt gonna amass 10 sacks this season. Too much focus on him. If west keeps pace, numbers will go up for Pearce. Double teams make stats hard to grab
Eric, I am a daily listener of locked in Vols. I love the content. I can help you out with merch if you need a shirt made. My wife and I live in Clinton and have a small clothing and apparel business.
In Tuscaloosa last year. The refs. Thats all ill say about that! Yall might forget about that but i wont I played 15 years of football and been watching almost my entire 45 years here. That game was probably the most lopsided games i ever saw as far as the REFS. I dont know if we would have beat them down there last year but we would have stood a better chance!
Always look forward to Josh Ward's commentary.
Keenan Pili. Brings the hammer on every play. Leadership keeps defense always in the game.
Sampson and Bishop were beast!

Saw several analysts comment and based on the PFF grades Larry Johnson actually did not play a bad game.
Yea gave me a lot of hope for the future for sure!
Yeah according to PFF. According to the actual game, he was getting whooped. That’s one of the reasons everyone says take it with a grain of salt

@lockedonvols Cain
I agree with you up to this point. Dylan has been an absolute monster.

Agreed, and good question
Get Bishop and Brooks a scholarship already
I think Arkansas will ne our biggest test to date they really move the ball. What are your thoughts
Cmon let's ride Tennessee
Had a hold call on Anjra K. When Kitelman scored call back.
Here we go Tennessee here we go,!

Dylan for sure on O! Can’t argue with Josephs on D! Go Vols!
Go Vols!
Considering how much Auburn was able to run on Arkansas, does Tennessee fan base need to get prepared for another run heavy game.

Joseph is the man causing two critical stops for fumbles which turned the game’s momentum and crushed OKLAHOMA
This team is that rarest of unicorns...a true TEAM..they are all important.
You need MERCH
Coach Banks is my pick for MVP.
Not going Pili is wild
I said 11-1 to 10-2 with a top 10 defense and top 5 offense

GO. BIG. ORANGE. 🍊🍊🍊
Cooper Mays is the MVP so far.
I want Alabama to win simply because we play them in Neyland and play Georgia in Athens. So Georgia needs a L.
Yep same... I want AL in very close game
I want Bama to win because I can’t stand Georgia’s delusional fanbase…
@@hazedidit yeah that too lol
hr needs to learn how to block in pass protection
Easy choice. The kicker. The leading offensive scorer in the OK game.

Seven minutes in and tnen an ad. 😂😂
Sampson in my half baked voice.
Tyre West has been the most disruptive that I have seen
Pilli is a bad dude.
Sampson maybe.. he ain't so hot missing that block that resulted in a strip back on Nico.
Yes but it was one block lol... I mean, in not gonna nullify his season stats because of one missed block on a fantastic defense
Unless you're talking about just the OK game... In which your critique is very fair
Too many penalties! Clean it up. Too many turnovers too
