Mam,while detecting 0010 u r moving from S1 to (0) S2 to (0) S3. After that from S3 to (1) S4 u r getting o/p =1. So the detection will stop, Then how can we move further and detect 0010?

Could u please make vedios on encoders, decoders, mux,demux we need application problems like odd bit addition and even bit addition using above encoders, decoders, mux, demux plz mam......
In question if they gave detect sequence "11011" using moore sequence or mealy sequence detector machine. In above question there is no mention of whether overlapping or non-overlapping. In these case which to apply "overlapping" or "non-overlapping"???

mam for mealy we have n states so in this example how we consider n+1 states ???

it will detect only after receiving "1" as its third bit
For melay, you told that there would be N no of states for N bit Why n+1 here?
Problem is 5 states for Mealy machine whereas there are 4 bits only? Something wrong with this explanation. Please correct.

madam in melays circuit, for a 4 bit sequence there shouldn"t there be only 4 states.

What will be the state diagram for only 0001 sequence.
Remove cases for the other sequence you will.get that

Yes, you can also use 4 states. But little more complicated.since two Sequences

@@thomasphilip8158 in some cases, we use like this especially when detecting more than one Sequence. But otherwise we follow the standard rule.
