4 DIY NOTEBOOK IDEAS with SHARPIE Markers for Back-To-School - How To

- Hi everyone! In this DIY, I'm showing you how to create 4 easy notebooks for back to school with Sharpies. Decorate your boring school supplies to make them cute. Learn how to make an Urban Outfitters inspired moon phase notebook with metallic Sharpie markers & glitter washi tape. Also use patterned scrapbook paper, doodles, and create watercolor paint with the ink from markers - all you need is rubbing alcohol to get this cool, tie-dye effect. Mod Podge it all together and you have some easy, awesome notebook cover designs for back to school, a planner, or your home office.

My son goes back second semester to start his student teaching to be a high school Ag teacher.
My 20 year old is taking a few years off and working in a skilled nursing facility and her goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner.
My middle child, well I've given up on the whole college thing with her. She found love, moved out and dropped out. She was going to be a elementary teacher.

I graduated from high school in 2018 and I decorated my notebook for my reading class. I drew cute animals and glued it on. My teacher and my classmates were so amazed.

Hi Sarah, I'm 31 part way through a BA. I had to temporarily unenroll because of health reasons. I love the quote book, I love the sharpie paint background. Decorating notebooks is one of my favourite type of videos to watch. Makes me want to decorate some more again.

All the notebooks are great, but I'm partial to the yellow and blue with stars, and the "Live Your Dreams". Love watching your videos! Really like the retro art kits that you've done! So cool, since I grew up in the 50's and 60's (yes, I'm old) lol.
The Rainbow with mountains is my favorite! Even though I Graduated from school But Still I love watching your videos.
Fun fact: Indigo is npw a natural color made by light. It is a man made hue of blue that was invented to dye denim. So not including it in your rainbow is 100% okay.

I’ve graduated but I’m going to probably just try this on some random notebooks. My favourite was the moon or mountain designs!

I've always felt that indigo is the outlier colour in the rainbow, because as you said it blends it with blue and purple, plus without it there's three warm colours in the rainbow and three cool colours in the rainbow.

I was in school over a cna with the Vera perlin for a job skills class but that and my life is on hold just doing zoom meeting temporarily but hopeful will finish my program in September wish me luck waiting for more updates on what will happen.
Naw I'm a stay at home mom I just sit and watch for ideas lol.

I like all of them except for the mountain range one, sorry Sarah it wasn't my favorite. I think the moon one would have looked cooler and silver but the gold is okay. My favorite notebook you ever did that I can remember is the lava lamp one. That one was so cool! Nice video Sarah 👍

You can use felt tips or normal markers with little water ( on a plastic surface, a zip lock bag.)

I really hated High School and Elementary School because I was bullied through majoridly being ostracized. My best friend at the time is a toxic human being and I was pretty terrible at it. I have a very short attention span.
That being said, I loved college. I had to drop out though, due to funding :(

Out of hs and at home with parents and two cats, one of which is a black fluffy one like Leo i named Onew (from my fav band shinee). Been using the past ten yrs post hs for at home study Japanese and korean languages.
