Radio frequency has been so interesting to me since I was a child, like a magic. ✨ When my neighbor making a communication using a cordless device, I was amazed, how could it come?! Then I tried to look for books and articles about radio frequency. The first stuff I built was a mini 80 meter band transmitter, and sooo happy that it worked! It's when I was twelve. I bought my fisrt HT in 2000, and have a license just in 2020. 😂 What you are doing now just reminding me to relive the nostalgic moments. 🤭😊😂 Thanks for sharing, Ciprian. 🕊️✨

Love the wooden straight key!! I'm building a key now.....just getting back into Ham radio now, enjoying the process. I was a ham as a kid, then I went to sea as a ship's RO and stopped the hobby....BUT I'M BACK...:)) Your content is great....you deserve more subs...I'm sure they are on the way!
No need to worry about views and subs.... I just share what I love making. I as also into ham radio a lot when I was little... but well.... life. I was also hoping after I opened the channel to have the time to get my license. It's nearly the end of the year and I still don't have it yet.... again.... life. I just got back home in Romania last week... so hopefully I have some time to start making some more videos soon. Good luck working on the key... I love mine too, but I will have to make one more... a smaller one as this one seem too big. 73 and have an amazing weekend.
Very interesting video. I totally agree with what you said about failures, when I built the sputnik receiver it didn't work at first try but I checked it the next day and I found the problem. I hope this table would be full of successful projects soon. Have a nice day. 73

Thanks for this honest and interesting video. It is good that you are sharing your learning journey from the beginning. It gives encouragement to people like me who just starting to get into the construction side of amateur radio. Sometimes, watching videos where they have lots of equipment and assume you have knowledge puts you off progressing with the hobby. Your simple approach works for me.
It's very true what you are saying. I also have the same feeling sometimes. I wish I had all that equipment to make more precise schematics and share more precise information... but I don't have them. So instead I'm building "by eye" like the carpenters and "by ear" like musicians hahaha. At least this was the joke I made with my buddy Andrei from RoWaves. When you don't have equipment... that's all you have to measure what you made... your eyes and your years at the end )) I also like keeping things simple. I'm not a master in this, but I do enjoy building stuff as much as I can... and maybe also learn something on the way ))) 73 my friend.
One of the most useful tools I have purchased recently is a NanoVNA. You can use it for measuring coils and capacitors as well as crystals, LC circuits, complex impedance and a whole bunch of useful antenna stuff, which is what I mostly use mine for You can even use it as an RF signal source Get your license and get on the air :-)

I have always listened to the radio before going to bed for as long as I can remember. I have been left to this day. I have always been interested in electronics and circuit design. I finished school and became an electronics engineer. Even though I don't work in the profession of electronics, my passion remains. A few months ago, before I found your channel, I decided to go back to analog electronics because most of the things I do for myself are digital electronics. I am slowly coming back to building basic electronic circuits with the use of transistors. I decided to do so because I like such classic layouts. You inspired me. 73!
I'm really happy you are coming back to the "old school designs". I also used to be more into the "new technology in the past... all digital and all that. Until I got to work with it on the cruise ships. After working for a while with the old analog stuff that made me feel like I'm in the 80's... when we changed all to digital it felt like WOW. Until the problems started to appear... then more and more problems. So I realized that new technology it will never beat analog. And that's how I decided to only build analog stuff. Built to last... most of the time at least )) 73 my friend.

I love Astronomy. I rest when I can make observations. My eyes and I rest (I work in the IT industry). I also like to put together models of airplanes. I am in the process of creating a small collection of Polish military aircraft models that were in use before 1939. An interesting fact is that we sold licenses for them to Romania, so I have some decals with Romanian markings. As you can see, man lives not only with electronics :)
Clearly people that are passionate about the amateur radio hobby... seem to share all the rest of the hobbies hahaha. I know exactly what you are talking about. For me is this and sailing... but also photography... I don't know much about astronomy but I also love it... also building model planes... only that I'm more into the simple ones with rubber motors... so I think if we were neighbors we would get kicked out of out houses because we would end up playing with all these like little kids ))) It's nice... life is too short... people should do more of these hobbies... is a medication for the brain and the soul too... especially after a long day at work.
@@dxexplorer Exactly as you write, for a hunger with kids and planes with rubber band or gliders that I also built in the past. A fantastic sight as it flies and flies. Nobody would notice that there are not only kids on the team :)
Hahahaha. I can't wait for my nephew to move in Romania as we make a great team in plane model building and flying them... especially when my sister is joining us as well hahaha.
