I liked the video before even watching it. I already know Terry and Bersy will not disappoint.

You're talking about Bersy Cortez. Of course she didn't get confused! But I'm sure if an improver level follow dances with Terry, it would look amazing too. That's what a World Class lead does.

Terry’s musicality is second to none
Bersy is so beautiful! She killed it and was clearly dancing with passion. I wish Terry have put the same emotions (smile, looking at his partner in the eyes, etc...) - this is what makes a big difference for me between really good dancers (highly skilled in the dance techniques) and maestros (they got it all: techniques, musicality and above all the passion and emotions you share with your dancing partner)
but seriously though Terry always looks half bored when dancing. Probably the only thing I dont like about watching him.
@@MrSilverfish12 it takes so much concentration to do what he does, there are moments where he's grinning ear to ear, i think it's obvious he enjoys every second of social dances like these

this is the only time I've seen Terry Dance with a follow that is 100% comfortable. In every other video I've seen the follow looks like they're concentrating to not get confused too much
Steven Craig Bersey, Magna and of course his usual dance partner, Cecile are the only dancers I feel can ever really hang with his musicality.
To be fair though, to follow Terry’s moves one would have to be a very advanced dancer and able to hold their own (ie good styling, classical training, perform spins effortlessly, etc) Bersey is exactly that. However I was disappointed that Terry didn’t give Bersey more time for shines, yet she’s so fly she still worked ‘em in 😂
And you can tell that when Terry shines more, he's not fully engaged in challenging his follow. He challenged the whole dance and she did NOT disappoint 🙌🏾🙌🏾👌🏾

Only if he could listen to his partner more and provide the relevant freedom. Bersy is an amazing follower, but also loves her music which it can be seen that she just wants more space and time to enjoy it as she wants.
Combos and moves are nice, but giving an equal share to your partner for enjoying the moment is much nicer

I wish he had let her shine more. You could see in her body when she wanted to express the music instead of all the spinning and hand tricks. He has met his match when it comes to musicality.

It seems that T finally met his match and learned something. B starts stiffening her arms to resist the partner's sudden pulling and to controll the right timing. T seems to be aware of the change after all. My first Like to T's social. B's always grreat.

As a salsa instructor, I respect these greats. Both Terry / Eddie were ripping it up with their partners. We dance for the love of salsa and this is a clear display of the love of what we do. Their partners were 100% on point!!! Amazing

@@salvadorjimenez8816 En este mundo hay gustos hermanos, no a todos les gustara. En lo personal a mi no me gusta su estilo pues podrás tener la mejor tecnica de baile pero hay algo mas importante que la técnica y ese es el sabor y el no lo tiene o por lo menos no aqui.

Si los hubiera visto sin escuchar la música, me hubiera quedado maravillado. Pero al escuchar una música tan cadenciosa y una letra tan íntima, me molestaban gestos y movimientos tan bruscos, sobre todo por parte de la mujer. No creo que sea cuestión bailar en uno o en 2, en linea o a lo cubano. Cuando se expresa lo que dice la música, aunque sean de estilos diferentes se percibe. De todas formas, enhorabuena por la técnica.

This is not about hating, its obvious that if you're a dancer in general, you take the criticism that comes with being a dancer. Some will love you and some will not but you can't let that break you, it should only make you better.

When you don't understand the lyrics you dance like Terry...he shows fancy moves and moves like a robot. When you actually feel the music and now about the lyrics you dance like Eddie, not only feeling the music but understanding. Eddie understand where salsa comes from and what it represent. He knows how to interpret the music correctly. Terry is extraordinary but he is 100% technique and 0% heart. "se juntan en una sola tu alma y la mia" and he makes that move...wtf is that !!
I'm watching videos with this guy about a month or two again and again, and I don't understand what is special about him... He even do not make steps and is never looking at his partner...🤔

He has a lot of speciality, one of which is musicality which no other salsa guys I've seen has to his level. But I agree, Terry misses eye contact and emotional connection with his partner.
Such musicality on dot , at times need whole life to learn & still it may not to possible to nail it , it's split second turn & patterns , where both are not dancing as 2 individual dancer , but here actually what actually happening is both dancers seems & feels like disappears & only dance remains. That's like mystic alchemy magic & seer pure bliss & pleasure for real latin dancers , their is no 2 remains , so comparing with each others , is out of questions only ,that's i would like to call it as musically trance in salsa dance.
El marcelo tiene flojera de bailar y la mujer esta sobrada, pero de buena 😂😂 pero la verdad no me gusta como bailan y ese hombre no lleva el ritmo, la mujer tuene mucha energia pero tampoco lleva el ritmo y yo definitivamente me quedo con la vieja escuela en donde ivan al ritmo y sentian la musica
