NOTHING was more magical than this parade... I went as a child in 2000 and that was one of the ONLY things I remember from it. Even interning for disney through their college program I mentioned it to the boss I had. We got along well and during one of the tours he brought me through one of the areas of the building. There they were... the Kites, the puppets... all from the parade. Even some of the drums decorated the walls. Thank you Disney for allowing me to experience the best parade to ever grace my memory ♥
Gavin Greenaway really gave us some magic with this and Reflections. Imagineer Don Dorsey who was the lead on the project said it best on an interview when he first heard the music: “I cried”
Love love love this song 💓💓💓! I wish I could go to Disney again and see the parade and hear this song! This song heavily promoted unity between all people on the world!!
I remember 2002 when I worked at Disney world, I would watch this parade and firework show every week on my day off, sometimes twice. What great nostalgic memories, brings tears every time listening to this
What a trip yo. My folks took my younger sister and I yearly from about 97 to 07. This was the jam. We all haven't been back since, but we may get back this year. My sister is now my brother, but it all remains the same to me. These yearly memories I will not forget.
10:35 Put your hand On the future Share a dream together Around the world With a voice from every country And a face from every land We'll celebrate the future hand in hand We'll celebrate the future, hand in hand!
I never got to see the parade, but this is the music I remember most leaving Epcot. I purposely stand on the walk way between world showcase and world of innovations just to hear the entire track… always will be one of my favorites
Trust me... Nothing was more magical than this parade. It's a shame Epcot wasn't built for a parade, cause it's one of the few things I would have loved to see stay
PixarShark time to start building the floats while in quarantine for “Tapestry of Wonder” or whatever magical name it will be called... we the fans ought to petition to make it happen
Jiru Kazunari and yet, when the Disney Company purchased the land, they got plenty of extra room for expansion, and left plenty of headway around each of the parks. If anything, Epcot feels less crowded than Magic Kingdom and Studios since there are fewer rides but more pathway space. Or at least it did during the heavily-packed week of 2017 Thanksgiving. But when Food and Wine comes to town, it’s mobbed. More money for the Disney Company.
This parade inspired me at the age of five to become a drummer. Started when I was 10 and played pretty professionally up until a few years ago. Thanks, Tapestry of Nations! Your rotating drum players really influenced me as a kid
We need a new Tapestry once the world returns to so-called normal. Disney can really build on their legendary legacy since nostalgia sells, especially stuff from around Y2K towards millennials. It’s a very inspiring parade that gives the message of Walt himself to keep moving forward.
I remember seeing this parade one time in my childhood in the very early 2000s. It was one of the most magical experiences and memories of my life thus-far - definitely was the best parade and show I've ever been to and I've been fortunate to have experienced a lot great things. My Mother had a video of the parade and us kids enjoying it all - but we lost the tape and it crushed our hearts for many years - but yet, we all remembered the tune quite well. Today, is the first time in almost 20 years since I've heard this tune - that one time, that one special night. I enthusiastically got my Mother to listen to this and had her guess where she heard this - it didn't take her long to figure out it was from the parade at Epcot! She was over-joyed and teared up by remembering how special this song and memory was for her and us all!
Chances are it’d be packed with intellectual properties / franchises and people won’t like that. Would be almost funny in a jarring way seeing characters march to Tapestry music. The music is good enough that I’d be okay with it though, as long as the Tapestry music itself dominates.
I cried at this parade 25 years ago! It was so beautiful and well done! My kids thought I overreacted a bit!! I'm still touched by this song!!! ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
PixarShark but it’s all about Disney intellectual property. Can almost guarantee if Epcot forever wasn’t your thing this one will be way worse. For me I didn’t enjoy the kids and the Aladdin section at all, and that’s really the direction the new show is headed right now
Matthew Mongelli and Epcot Forever was supposed to be about the past, present, and future of the park. But knowing where the theming goes, the future doesn’t exactly look bright to people who like original/OG stuff like Tapestry.

This has to be the finest piece of music ever made for a theme park.❤️

The single, best musical piece ever written, period. Add in the parade and it was truly a thing of beauty!

How am I just now finding out that this piece of music exists?! Better late than never, I suppose. Great stuff!!
23 years later and I still remember this beautiful parade at EPCOT
2019 AND STILL HOLDING HOPE THEY'LL BRING THIS PARADE BACK. ❤️
Nope. They dismantled the floats after the last run of "Tapestry Of Dreams"
I wouldn't put it beyond Disney to redo and update it with 20 years of tech advancement if they wanted to. 😆
PixarShark yeah! We do need to Bring Back Tapestry but 20 years more advanced.

Tapestry of nations was the best parade at epcot. I loved hearing the music and seeing floats go down the world showcase. Nice music loop WML95.

That is awesome!

What band did you play for?
Let's be honest this music belongs in the National Archives.

This made me tear up because this parade was one of my first Disney memories with my family! It will forever have a special connection with me!
The anthem of the world returning to normal after the virus
Smh... yeah Disney better hit us with some real magic when they reopen. Long live Tapestry.
Disneys only reply will be increased ticket prices to make up the last year. The parks have lost all this creativity to IP overload
@@bencollins4017 agreed….
Some of us having been living normally despite the virus
Was supposed to…
Until Russia strikes back
Please play this at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
I played this in marching band in high school, then we got to go to Disney and experience it.
I wish there was a way to have this on Spotify 😪
this is still one of my all time favourite Park soundtracks there's just something about it that brings such a big emotional response out of me
Behold, the great Millennium Walk!
What I’d give for Disney to bring back this parade. Even if it’s just once, even if it’s just during new years.

Agree!! Yes!!!!
This is getting me through working from home right now!!!!
I remember when all I had was a shitty 56mbp MP3 of this. THANK YOU.
This was such an awesome parade...I miss it 😭😭
I cried at this parade 25 years ago! It was so beautiful and well done! My kids thought I overreacted a bit!! I'm still touched by this song!!! ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Good morning to everyone except the three people who disliked this video
The power of this comment actually made someone un-dislike.
AquaDoesThings sometimes on smartphones its easy to accidentally hit dislike and not notice it if you are not careful.
I remember this music, but I don't remember seeing the parade. I just love it
Stunning! Incredible job at putting this all together!

Behold, The Great Millennium Walk!
oh goodness they definitely need to bring this back what is it now the 3’ed millennium it’s 2022 they should bring this back.
I remember going to Orlando and hearing this and loving it and being inspired. Shame 911 happened shortly after
Like literally 2 days after ToN’s last performance.
So sad, I think about this often.
I think there are also three versions of this song featuring narration and the Sage of Time's voice.
There is. I found the narration on soundcloud
There’s also the somewhat abbreviated version that was played on loudspeakers after Reflections of Earth fireworks.
This is awesometactular

@wml95 wasn't there a master mix at one point that combined Tapestry of Nations and Dreams? I feel like it had a red background.
Hi, Brett! I haven't done a Master Mix like you've described, but it is an interesting idea and I'll definitely keep it in mind for the future.

Is there a composer credit for this?
Hi! Tapestry of Nations was composed by Gavin Greenaway.
Here after Epcot Forever. The show does not feel right at all.
Joey Garcia Well, don't forget that's only a placeholder show while they finish developing the new one for 2021.
Joey Garcia yup
