Plus Dracthyr racials may prove to be quite the way to go for many classes which is something the devs hate and they would risk to nerf dracthyr at their core
I just hope Warbands eventually lead to us to being able to group up with our alts in-game as NPC companions. Imagine an entire LFR-level raid with nothing but your alts. Or making a party of 5 of your NPC alts and leveling them up at the same time through questing.
What is the point to be social with other players if they start that kind of stuff 😂 WoW is a social interaction mmo game 😊 But I understand what you mean.
As a casual player I can’t stand grouping with people who rush to the end like they need to use the bathroom super bad!! It would be nice to explore and learn stuff. Plus my alts have earned some time out with just the family lol

Ngl i like it when they enforce no flying at the start of expansions, dragon riding especially made the dragonflights zones seem really small and unmemorable imo
For my first time questing through the Dragon Isles, I did (almost) everything on my ground mount. I appreciated the zones in a way that I probably wouldn't have if I flew from day 1. I'll be doing the same for this xpac.
I'm terrified of spiders, but the terror has always been a part of the game to me. Especially that damn giant spider in The Hinterlands--that thing scared me near to death the first time I stumbled upon on it. I know there is a whole zone and raid full of horrors waiting for me in The War Within, but I refuse to use the filter. I'd rather be frightened than coddled.
Sounds amazing looking forward to war within. Now if I could find out if there releasing new race/class combos other than the dragon class. All I want to play is a worgan shaman and my dreams will come true lol

Warbands (one of the only good things we know about in the Fart Within) 3. Dracthyr getting actual classes (should've just been here on day one for Dragonflight, stupid that they waited til now) 4. Arachnophobia filter (this seems like a good idea, until you say "kill the spider" in a raid and it doesn't happen and you wipe) 5. Flying (should be there from the start and shouldn't require you to do anything to get it, why do they keep doing this?)
I like the different backgrounds for warbands, but i really hope it doesn't involve FOMO and that these backgrounds are always obtainable. Like becoming a Feat of Strength like with other certain things in WoW.
I don't like my warband players just standing around like the example given in this video. I want the option of having my warband characters sitting, eating, laughing, playing an instrument, sleeping, chatting with other warband characters, sparring with a dummy in the background, etc. PLEASE don't let them just stand around like we normally see them when choosing a character to log in with!
I actually hate the new alt leveling speed bonus. Leveling is already lightning fast as it is, now its going to go by so fast that there is no point in leveling anymore. Just let everyone start at max level at this point.
That arachnophobia filter is so stupid.... I got a fear of heights, and depths into the unknown like the ocean... but those don't affect me at all in games because it's not putting me physically into that situation..?

Not to break it for you.. but that expensive spider mount is not the only big spider ingame, there is a Gladiator spider mount that plenty of players has. Cuz that one is easy to get 😅😂😂

The Expansion sound bad Non of the changes are worht playing the game again. Makeing leveling easier for Alts might sound cool. But it will also caus for more Noob in M+ Dungeons that dont know how to play their class. If anything leveling is tooo easy! People just breez to max and then have nothing to do and want freeloot for being bad at the game. Whats the point in that? Blizz should put actual content in the game instead of a bunch of stupid features no one asked for. How about rework BGs to be more fair + Grafic Update?
a less known fact - in early vanilla, addons worked in a different way. Some could be made to interact with certain files in PC to change something other than interface in game, or automate things. Example: in the reaaaaaaally early days, everything in game was expensive and gold was scarce. There was addon that would move your character, on roads, to flightpoints, autonomously. Why? So people dont have to pay for taxis. There was also addon that changed spider texture into jpeg or puppy or something, not the animation, it would just float the picture on your screen where the mob should be. When blizzard banned this kind of addons, there was huge uproar of people blaming blizzard for being insensitive towards people with arachnophobia. So remember, blizzard listens, it just takes them 20 years.
There is just one point: Retail has no more real pvp. The War Within? Who?! Horde and Alliance are friends now! This is ridiculous. You can have horde characters on the same realm with alliance ones, instead of The War Within it should be named "The Friendship Within" ...And the new world pvp mode...on pvp realms people choose to disappear so they can quest without being killed by other players! "THE LGBT+ WITHIN" xD

I don't really see why people think an arachnophobia filter is so weird. It is one of the most common phobias (~6% of people) and alienating 6% of players from paying a WoW sub through that content is way more money than it takes to make a crab filter. That spider change is weak sauce. Its a game. Are people so afraid of Blizzard 3d model spiders that they wont play WoW because of it. Whats the percentage of that people? .01%? Lets change all the monsters in the game to something less scary. Next will be ghosts. All ghost models will be npcs with sheets thrown over their heads....this game is continually going soft.
I would have guessed that beating the tar out of spiders would be satisfying to arachnophobes. They should face their fears, not let themselves be controlled by them.
I think what would make leveling a bit better for me would be, say after your 2nd max level character, you unlock full-length timewalking that lets you completely avoid the most current expansion and level to max in whatever expansion you want. I tend to always stack up alts right at the max level of the previous expansion (as of DF, this is level 60) because while I've thus far had the freedom to choose anywhere in the world I want, all of my stacked level 60s will be forced to funnel into the 4 most current zones, which gets incredibly boring and means my alts tend to sit for months to years.

Not happy with DF style professions going forward into TWW... the Knowledge system ssssucks for alts and late comers. With War Bands it'd have been nice to make professions account wide for learnt recipes.

It doesn't feel right to let Dracthyrs to be able to use other classes.. It seems WAY too strong to let a warrior be able to use those racials for example. I love the evoker because the class + race work so well together. And i really like the fact they are bounded to each other.
i like the evoker class but hate the dracthyr, so i want the evoker class to come to other races blizzard can figure some excuse to give it to everyone someday i hope.

Agree - honestly just let us unlock dragonrdiing when we turn 80. I miss the fun PvP while leveling. Dragon riding gets rid of it

drac'thyr already have a strong connection to the emerald dream and the green dragonflight so them being druids does not seem too farfetched

Normal flying will be unchanged. Dragonflying is just generally way faster anyway.

That arachnophobia filter is pure bullcrap. I have arachnophobia. I am completely terrified by the real life videos you just put in the video. But wow spiders? Come on. They have like cartoony animations and moves. This cannot scare even the worst of the arachnophobics... We have spiders in the game since forever, and now they are doing crab filter for the frickin snowflakes :D
Not happy with DF style professions going forward into TWW... the Knowledge system ssssucks for alts and late comers.
With War Bands it'd have been nice to make professions account wide for learnt recipes.

It doesn't feel right to let Dracthyrs to be able to use other classes..
It seems WAY too strong to let a warrior be able to use those racials for example.
I love the evoker because the class + race work so well together.
And i really like the fact they are bounded to each other.
i like the evoker class but hate the dracthyr, so i want the evoker class to come to other races blizzard can figure some excuse to give it to everyone someday i hope.

i think its a bit strange that blizzard decided to accomodate to arachnophobia specifically while there's PLENTY of scary(borderline horror) shit it the game
I like retail leveling from 10-70. You should be able to start non allied races at 10. The first 10 levels are boring and too fast to matter
Bellular did a video and the xp boosts starts with one max level character for 5% looks like its a 5% boost so far up to 25% and thats hella nice
I'd love to see the character select screens ripped off from lost ark - best I've seen. Looks like wow is heading in this direction.
