  • We ended up on a mammoth journey travelling south in the heat. It took us nearly 8 hours. It ended up surprisingly being a really fun day, and the destination was so worth the drive.
We found this amazing park up on Park4night:

This resonates so much for me, i feel that the UK school system failed me, im not athletic and learn differently than others, so my life had some really dark times. I am an introvert but in recent years have been pushing myself out of my comfort zone socially too and it has helped a lot. Thanks for putting yourself and your thoughts out there! Really loving these honest and open videos

Its awful how the education system is only suited to one type of learner and it leave so many kids feeling "different" and it can have a really long term effect. Glad to hear your liking the videos

Your trip looks amazing, glad you are able to now interact more easily with others, it makes your life so much better (in the most part anyway). As for dyslexia, it really is as your parents said. A super power. One of my children has Autism and she actually had to be taken out of school and home educated because her school wouldn’t recognise it. Which is quite poo, but she had much more fun being home educated anyway lol. Keep making these fine vids and stay positive:-)

That sound really hard, the schools need to come a long way. But all the same that amazing what you've done for your daughter, creating an environment where she can thrive .

I was diagnosed with dyslexia and dysphasia at uni though it was suspected earlier at primary school. I feel that I think very logically and practically but I don’t have much creativity flare. I completely understand how listening to music can just make things feel so much better if I’m feeling a bit off nothing works better for me than reaching for those songs and bands that mean the most to me and cranking the volume up. It just works within minutes.

Fabulous video. I'm glad you are enjoying your trip. I don't have dyslexia or ADHD, but know many who do. I am going to check out The Yes Theory. Thanks for the recommendation.

Hey Heather, is your van speed limited and/or does it have a taco? Just thinking about your long trips and wondering 😁really pleased to hear your parents have been so positive about dyslexia. Worth looking at a website called made by dyslexia and a vid called the dyslexia sperm bank. Super interesting. You are definitely not disabled, as you say, it is a super power 😁 we are super humans together 😁 I have had some interesting reactions to me being dyslexic over the years, thankfully they are more positive in the last few years 😁

No speed limiter, just gets really bad on fuel of you push her faster than 60mph, and no taco... Sadly also no cruise control 😱😂 it's very disheartening at times that the academic system is only made for one type of learner, but I think the educational system is coming along way in recent years

@@heatheroreillyduff5604 not having a taco and limiter help 😁 totally get the fuel cost. I don’t go above 65 in my Iveco either 😁 I looked into getting cruise control fitted as a retro. Iveco say £400 if you are interested in doing that in the future. It will be a future mod for me 😁
Yeah agreed. I wish they could allow us more chance to learn practical skills whilst at school and if we show aptitude, not think it is a lesser trade, but encourage us 😁
