Smithereens definitely puts put more damage with less mod investment early

Best thing about Smithereens is it can work on other descendants to bump up single target TTK
like Bunny, she is good mobber, give her Smithereens and she becomes pretty good at Elite killing aswell

which one's easier to use or more diverse with other descendants other than Gley? i wanna build one but i'm hesitant on a 1 gun/1 character combo. i like variety

Definitely Smithereens, you can use it in killing elites fast during 400% and invasion. Also Sharen can use shotgun with Ambush.
