Imagine now if a Car Door had been around....
Daredevil still would've got away somehow. Even after all that ass kicking he did and ass beating he took, his superhuman senses worked quite well enough for him to throw a stick at Wesley's arm directing his aim to the other goon, to make an escape by the water he could hear outside the docks
***** Kingpin is nowhere near strong enough to kill Spider-Man, even if he stood still and took it.
znjfl but he an sure as hell hurt him bad, in the comis, kinpin's punches and grasps were enough to where spidey complained that he could not breath or that he might have had several broken bones
znjfl I disagree with that, The kingpins pretty strong in his own way, and Spiderman may defeat him many times, but Kingpin is pretty strong and has an iron will of his own which makes him a highly formidable foe. Spiderman would be unwise to just stand there and let Fisk hit him,you should know that.. no comic I've ever seen has had Spider-Man just letting Kingpin hit him.. In fact it was always just the opposite. idk where you get that logic. Unless the comics of today has Spiderman standing still and allowing himself to get punched by kingpin somewhere... which I've never seen.
Emmanuelle Rodriguez Read Back to Black.
Anyway, Kingpin is very very strong. But he is peak human in strenght. He cant lift 1 ton for example, While Spider-Man can lift 15-20. And can support the weight of a building if highly stressed. When flexing his muscles he can deflect small caliber bullets, and is even more resistant to blunt force trauma as shown when he handles punches from Hulk and Hercules. They obviously werent punching at full power but it was still harder than anything Kingpin can throw. Spider-Man has strength waaaaaaay beyond Kingpin`s league, he has durability way beyond Kingpin`s league, and I shouldnt even need to mention speed.
The feats dont lie, Kingpin doesnt have anything that can damage a serious Spider-Man.
And if you dont want to trust feats you can trust Marvel`s editors and just go to the databook, where it is clearly demonstrated that Kingpin has peak human strenght and durability, while Spider-Man has superhuman.
And again, if you want to see what a pissed off Spider-Man vs Kingpin fight looks like, just read Back to Black(The Amazing Spider-Man 542)
Nobu beat the tar out of Daredevil. Matt could barely defeat him. Taking on a juggernaut like Wilson Fisk is difficult even at 100%, so fighting him at barely 10% like in this scene had a pretty... expected result.
I like how Matt knew all this and said screw it He’s mine and still took at shot a Fisk while this weak
@@OneSensitiveArtist juggernaut (lowercase letter) means "a huge, powerful, and overwhelming force or institution." That describes Season 1 Kingpin.
The thing that I love about Daredevil is the clever visual tricks and angles they use to make Fisk look huge. Vincent D'Onifrio is already 6'4" but these angles and shots make him look 7 feet tall!
I don't think you realise how tall 6'4 is. Not to mention Vincent D'Onofrio weighed about 280 pounds when these scenes were being filmed.
Fisk tends to fight people who are at a disadvantage.
They call that "Worf Had the Flu" on TVTropes.
It's usually the same way in the comics, too, at least with Daredevil. I remember Fisk did easily defeat the Punisher back in the day, despite Frank being armed with knives.
No, I meant some extra disadvantage. Like Daredevil when he's massively wounded, Punisher while in cuffs, an older gentleman...
Fisk became a bully, just like his father.... typical bully beating up on the wounded/weaker guy. Glad he had his @ss handed to him in the final fight.
I personally thought Kingpin was doing what he thought he had to do for his city. I was even rooted for him and I've NEVER done that before.
He is smart and that is his best asset. He didn't know much about Daredevil at point in time and would not be stupid enough to risk the fate of the city over a 1 on 1 fight against Daredevil unless he absolutely had to like at the end of the first season when he is cornered and had no other options. That would get his hands dirty which would hurt his reputation. He plays the long game and doesn't care about fair fights as it would become to costly to his plans.
Kingpins a bitch for this fight. Nobu deff has the skill to kill kingpin and daredevil with hardly any vigilante experience, and no armor and 2 sticks, beat Nobu with only his determination and balls of steel. Kingpin fought a severely wounded opponent feeling like a big man. The season finale is how the fight REALLY goes if both were fresh. Get em Murdock!
Phillip Mclaughlin you forgot cunning too, DD knew he was outmatched, but his victory over Nobu shows that he's more than just a brawler; he's to a certian extent a tatician too
Phillip Mclaughlin KingPin can hold his own in a fight in case you don't know . Also in the season finally Matt had body armor.
Yea dude kingpin had armored clothing first bc Murdock would've deff mortally wounded him with that long slash from nobus blade. King pin felt big about defeating someone who shouldn't have been standing plus he brought two gunmen
Phillip Mclaughlin it just makes it more satisfying when daredevil beats the hell out of fisk
Kingpin is such a badass. Vincent D'Onofrio is great in every role he plays.
I wouldn't call him badass in this scene, more absolutely terrifying and ruthless.
Kate is sure as hell glad that hawkeye is rated PG 13
I know cuz if Hawkeye was rated 15 or more then Kate might take a similar brutal beating just like daredevil did
And I don't if kate can survive this much beating cuz daredevil has high pain tolerance like frank or not as much as frank and Matt survived a beating like that
this takes place in the same universe where theres a talking raccoon a talking tree cosmic powers and robots destroying cities
That's how it is in the comics.
You got your big Earth defending superhumans, you got cosmic begins, you got the more grounded dark gritty shit like this & Punisher...etc.
It's completely insane that Marvel pulled any of this off.
I don't get why people keep repeating this. Rape and funny situations also exist in the same world. Giraffes and Detroit drug dealers do too. The world is a very colorful place.
Unfortunately it does. Sucks since the daredevil and punisher shows rule compared to the big Hollywood switch your brain off cgi fests
Man he lost a lot of blood
Careful Matt. He might like look fate but only 2% of his body is fat. That's over 300 lbs of muscle
Ugh the paper sticking to his blood. This show was so brutally great.
They could've took the blood to a lab, had it analyzed and found out who he is.
This show was absolutely outstanding, it must come back for a season 4
Fisk is coming back in Hawkeye and kevin feige just confirmed that Charlie cox is returning as daredevil🙌
both actors are back and aparantly Disy is putting together a season 4 with deadshot as well.
@@onemisterfranko Deadshot is DC though 🤨. Where you getting your info from?
You just have to love the kingpin in this show! His fighting style is so savage! Perfect Balance between brute strength and streetfighting skills! D'Onofrio justed nailed the role! He made the Kingpin flesh and blood! Frightening!
Kingpin: it’s disappointing
Daredevil: I just fought a fucking ninja today what did you do?
0:36 Me when my xbox breaks down.
+soberchimera61 For me, it's when I'm constipated and I'm giving one big push to get it out.
I don't know if other people noticed but at 2:00, when Wesley interrupted Fisk walking away by asking about Nobu, Fisk turned around looking at Wesley in anger and Wesley turned away after pausing knowing his boss is mad and its a bad idea right now. Love the detail.
Idk I can see slight irritation from fisk, but even in that aspect, I don't think Wesley turned away in discouragement, but rather simply looking at nobu...
When I showed this show to my parents, my mother said something I never heard her say before about a show or movie when this scene happened. She said, "I can't watch."
Mine was so invested in the characters, she almost couldn't take the beating Murdock got this episode. I never saw my parents get so invested like this before.
+Matt J my mom loved this show, she couldn't handle this scene and the other one when Fisk smashed that guys head in with the car door. lol
Lol my mom falls asleep in every movie and tv show but the boring as hell dramas.
+Brandon Ferguson I just got my mom watching it and when the car door scene ended, she said let's watch one more lol.
I don't want to see any more Kingpin in the MCU. Removing his brutal fighting style and goriness will make him seem less threatening
The won’t wrap him into the MCU unless they tone him down which defeats the purpose. Since Disney owns Marvel they will never be dark again. I mean think about the infinity war movie. Half the universe was killed off yet nobody actually died, no blood, nothing. They just faded away because Disney is full of pussies. I like Marvel better than DC but DC is looking better and better with their semi realism.
@@dailyderpin188 at least Kingpin was DURABLE, had extraordinary human strength, and has the signature cane!
Nobu was a member of The Hand.
Sheer Ice an' Cold The Hand is a Ninja clan in the Daredevil comics Elektra is one of their members.
Does anyone else kind of cringe @1:02?
For some reason, the fact that one of the building blueprints for the Yakuza is sticking to the major cut on his back weirdly shows how deep it is, as well as how much blood he lost just from that one injury. Somewhat subtle, but adds to the gruesomeness of the previous scene and this scene in general.
lol I had seen this scene at least twice when it first came.. now watching this scene again almost a year and half later and I just noticed it.. I was like damn.. kinda eww lol.
I find it interesting how the concept of Wilson Fisk and his physicality parallels with James bond's Blofeld character. Originally Blofeld the head of Spectre was described as a tall man 6"3 with a muscular build of 300lbs. Fisk is somewhere around 6"6-6"8 and is said to be 350lbs of muscle with 2% body fat.
Tbf its not easy to get a high caliber actor that's between 6"6-6"8. Vincent D'Onofrio is still a solid 6"4 and towers over Charlie Cox & Jon Bernthal so he still has the presence, plus the 2% body fat was always bullshit imo, Wilson Fisk is better portrayed as having powerlifter physique, solid and with muscle, but still with quite a lot of body fat.
I thought Michael Clarke Duncan had the perfect body for kingpin, looked tubby in the suit but like Goliath without it, exactly how I’d imagine kingpin, but black.
I've seen him in person. I'm 5'11" and he towers over me. Huge man and looks solid. I think he worked doors at some NYC clubs.
Man, D'onofrio was just AWESOME as Fisk! Easily the best Marvel/Netflix villain :)
0:28
In this scene fisk is remembering what his father told him when they confronted the neighbor's son
"Keep Kicking Him"
Yeah I can imagine him hearing his dad in his head “keep kicking him-“
God this show started off so well. It's a crime we didn't get to see it truly continue.
Looks like Wilson fisk stole some moves from Tony Soprano.
Renzo Ugarelli He definitely reminds me of Tony Soprano with that rage. However Wilson Fisk would destroy Tony Soprano in a fight. lol Very similar though.
Bro it's been 8 years 😭 😩
We gotta be honest, Fisk knows how to punch a face really good, he was brutally destroying Matt's face
i like how wilson was dancing a bit, like, "dont let the suit fool you, i got hands, and i aint afriad to lay them on you"
0:23 Kingpin: my mother made me this suit
It's like Bane in Dark Knight Rises. Got to love when a villain just stands there and lets you get a few hits in first, just to size you up
fisk fights like a child throwing a tantrum
Pretty in character, considering how he sees himself in a mirror every day.
Omg! He just faught nobu and lost a lot of blood and then he took all that absolutely brutal beating from that monstrous giant yet he survived and came back to fight again!!! May be he forgot fear. Wow, what a show and what a charactor.
And this guy would lose againts 16 yeat old girl with a bow?
Her arrows did her work for her. She didn't beat him in hand to hand
The amount of blood lose is shown for these characters are incredible.
Yeah when I first saw this season and the amount of blood Matt lost I was like, "But it's only first season! What more will you have left to shed in the future??"
@wisemysticaltree9449 Pussy? I've cheered on far worse than this. I was thinking in terms of realism. A person can only lose so much blood. Then I shut myself up because this is all fiction anyway.
The thumbnail looked like they were going to have a rap battle
Yeah, I don’t think Disney + could get away with doing this.
Same, the way Disney is going like what they did to Fisk is going to turn a lot of fans away: Make a show cartoonish, keep teasing a villain over and over and just reveal him for only one episode, have a lot of forced jokes, throw in a lot of side characters no one cares about, whistle to stop a dramatic fight and use the power of love to defeat the villains.
Compare the quality of this awesome show to the shows today, not far from CW shows.
I'm surprised nobody in the comments mentioned or realised matt did the same thing in season 3 using bullseye to fight kingpin and his men in a death battle while matt would just be conserving his energy protecting himself and vanessa. when there's a Victor between the two that would either be kingpin or bullseye he'd be already worn out from the fighting. that when one finally faces fight matt it'll be a disadvantage.
Well apparently Kate Bishop is now smarter than Fisk and a better fighter than Matt. Cool.
He also didn’t have super strength for some reason in the Dare Fevil series
@@wolfstyle8945 I think the new super-endurance he's been given makes up for the loss of that
Well Kate had an arsenal of advanced arrows, and Matt had a baton and a couple of fists 🤣
Just waiting for Fisk to build up his criminal empire again.. I bet the third season will be somewhat like Shadowland or at least build up to it, and that once Fisk gets out prison he'll probably hire Bullseye to kill Daredevil, I'm calling it now..
and DD will find a way to bring down Bullseye like he did in the Daredevil movie
I'm mostly excited to see Bullseye, I just hope to God that they don't kill him off, since he plays a good part in Dark Reign which builds up to Shadowland. Plus, I can't wait to see him kill Karen, I'm still mad at her for killing Wesley
Im not mad at Karen for killing Wesley. But if I was in the DD show Id prolly take the gun away from Karen and keep it myself
He's back in Hawkeye
This fisk would tear appart Kate bishop but no that goddamm little girl got to beat him sad what the mcu has donee with our fisk
Wilson Fisk should show up in the AT&T cellphone commercial to buy a cellphone and look intimidating.
Daredevil really does need his friends to help him out. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are in the same neighbourhood as Daredevil while Iron Fist obviously isn't in New York yet.
Daniel Hindson They will all be teaming up after each show gets a season or two
Michael Brown Well I knew that but I want to know how Punisher will fit into the story since he's in the next season of this show and Elektra is also meant to be in it too. Hopefully Bullseye appears down the road sometime as the main villain and I would love to see Daredevil meet Iron Fist sooner.
Daniel Hindson Punisher will try to go kill wilson fisk since thats the only justice he seems fit for him and daredevil will defend him.
Daniel Hindson don't worry mate now that spider-man was confirmed in the MCU they have to make a crossover with DD first of all
Daniel Hindson Speaking of which, doesn't Spider-man utterly wreck Kingpin at one point?
D’onofrio is awesome. I remember him being in law and order criminal intent. He is great for this role.
Matt smart
He know water cancel fall damage
kate bishop was lucky she did not fought this kingpin
She did. It's the same kingpin.
Only difference is pg rating.
@@Zanoladab it wasn't. He had an interview after the episode and confirmed it was same fisk. But u can believe what you want.
@@tsmacks9 They are talking about writing as in tone this Kingpin is written different as in (Tone)
Fast forward to 2021 and the MCU drags and embarrasses him lol
I was actually terrified when watching this fight because after the beat down with Nobu I knew there was no chance for him to win
btw just finished s1
Como es posible que hawkeye teniendo mas presupuesto no le haya llegado ni a los talones a esta pelea, que decepcionante
Thumbnail look like Kingpin spitting some bars 😂
That thumbnail looks like Kingpin’s about to drop a rap album of the century
Welcome back, boys
Why did the thumbnail of the video look like mah boy kingpin was about to drop some bars?
This hero \ villain dynamic is the best because both are as interesting as each ithrr
Anyone here in 2021 where are the ogs at?
You couldve at least added the iconic "Take your shot"
I like how fisk fights with his whole body
I wondered if Nobu would had fought Kingpin
Given that fighting Nobu was likely Fisk's greatest fear at the time, it would've made for an interesting match.
0:10 sit yo ass down Fisk! You hopping up feeling yourself like this was a fair fight. XD
My stomach hurts while watching this, knowing all the suffering Murdock had gone through before taking on Fisk.
0:14 damn! That was a strong ass punch
Season 3 needs a scene like this
Favorite villain actor right there
0:26 Daredevil to his son: "That day my step father gave me the most savage beating of my life"
Matt" No fair, you got armor jacket."
Fisk"... you got super strength, speed, agility, taste, hearing..."
Matt"... Like an immortal ninja?"
Fisk" Let him burn."
Did they ever show Fisk's workout routine in this series like they did in TAS? They only showed it once in TAS but it did a good job to explain his great strength. I kind of hoped they would show something like that in this series, if they hadn't.
ryder mccall SPOILER well he is in prison It may be possible during the duration of season 2 he will get more stronger.
ryder mccall I'm pretty sure all that muscle is natural muscle. If he worked out then he would've had abbs. But instead he looks fat.
This guy made an amazing Wilson Fisk
*SAINT HEAVEN ¿HOW CAN MATT GO OUT FROM THIS ONE?*
U ever realize how much pain Matt takes and he usually just is like fuck it I’m getting up
And yet Kate defeated him with a single punch like a bag
@@rajnaik8359 y’all are retarded she never beat him with a punch she used her explosive arrows to beat him 🤣
That so? Shit, I don't remember her landing one successful punch. She did, however, set off an explosion that would've killed any other person. Fisk may not have been as fourth dimensional as he was in this show (he did only get one episode), but he was still treated like a threat that not even an Avenger wanted to deal with. And he lived up to it even in his loss.
Such vindication in 2022 that both Charlie and Vincent owned their roles so completely that it was impossible to recast them so Marvel didn't even try.
actually they speculated a full on reboot. but the fan wouldve caused too much ruckus. and they had a report saying charlie was talking to Feige even during this time, 6 yrs ago.
These Hawkeye fans actually thought that Pope girl beat this guy
İmagine what if Nobu could jump to water after he burned.
Anyways he already survived
0:18
That could've been it for Fisk.
Reminds me of that scene from Born Again.
Did you know daredevil was still able to fight because of his superhuman sense of touch the power does not just go external but internal too giving him fully body control over his muscles and organs increasing his strength giving him near superhuman level of strength
+Artist of Procedure wow thats awesome. wish they would expand more on that in the show
Artist of Procedure Just saying something happened without evidence that it DID happen... well, doesn't mean it happened, unfortunately.
Thumbnail looks like Fisk doing karaoke; or, at the very least, beatboxing. 🎤
Blind ninja vs angry baby
Kung fu and shaolin fighting techniques are great and all but it doesnt really beat a 2ft height advantage, a 12 inch reach advantage and about a 125lbs of extra muscle mass advantage.
Did I fall asleep on this episode 🤣
i could feel his pain
Imagine if this kingpin would stand a chance against Moon Knight and Captain America.
ahhhh Jezazzzz... i felt all those hits.... >_
Daredevil should have thrown objects to take out the lights during the fight. He could work out where they are by the faint humm.
The less light, the more at a disadvantage a sighted opponent is.
Matt's face was destroyed by Fisk's fists
When you finally beat strong boss but he start his another phase
