I love that WSS has a sound all of their own. From the music to the vocals it’s all their sound. So many bands follow other bands sounds with small changes. But these guys are in their own lane. Such an underrated band.
One of those bands I can instantly identify, the vocals and the style are all so unique, and Sean literally sounds like his guitar is another vocalist.
I love Sleeps Society as a whole. I listen to it but n repeat. I also enjoyed SO WHAT? through and through. You Are We was the first album of WSS I heard. They gang vocals and hard rock stylings are fantastic to me, growing up on "buttrock radio," and they (and Dreamshade) honestly served as a gateway to heavier music. WSS gives me a feeling of kinship and belonging when I listen to 'em.
This song is TOTY material, so fucking good, the riffing, lead work and chorus are all top notch, such a hype track , just makes me wanna circle pit haha
