Then once the audience laughs and agrees, he takes the joke a step further, then another, then another, then another…… And by the end, the audience either agrees with some really F’d up statement or becomes a hypocrite. Lol but the truth to that idea, I'm a big believe that people will go down through some low low times, but when you're at the lowest, you only have up to go from there. And that was one of the things that was so impressive to Louis about Carlin, that he would get straight to the point and speak his mind the moment he steps on the stage. Louis said this himself, in a speech where he paid tribute to Carlin after his death, if im not mistaken. For those that haven't seen that, please look it up. After that, it becomes very obvious how as years pass, Louis becomes more and more like Carlin (in his own unique way, ofc) and we are all lucky to witness it

90% of Europe has a 15-week limit on abortion (including England). In over half of the US states, you can still get an abortion, for any reason, up to 20 weeks, and even a lot of the conservative states still allow abortions up to 15 weeks. Also, most of those European countries also require "social" or "financial" hardships to get an abortion. They also allow doctors to be conscientious objectors. A woman I knew from college had a good friend in Italy that literally could not find someone that would give her an abortion while approaching 15 weeks in Italy. She had to go to London to find one.
