I really loved the episode a favorite moment for me was actually Jamie and Bree before he walked her down. Going back to season 1 and now I never would have thought we would get a season 5 episode 1 like this .
To this day i still can't tell whether she is a protagonist or an antagonist of this show...because sometimes i feel like she's taking revenge in jamie for not inheriting her estate but at the same she loves him like her own son...
No it’s just one interview, they were relaxed. They are always making fun of each other and seem to be great friends. I think people need to abandon the idea that they were ever into each other....they professionals.
@@BCutehere yeah that's what i was referring to. so called "fans" bullying him and he said he has been going through legal proceedings with that, probably for libel/defamation...
Yes, the joy seems to have gone, particularly on Sam's side. I don't believe they were actually a couple but you could see that Sam clearly adored his friend and co-star. I think he still does but it's more muted, perhaps because of Catriona's marriage.. Who knows, but it's sad to see.
I don’t think Cait understands Claire and Jamie’s love. She says she’s the keeper of Claire then she goes on saying stuff like Frank is her favourite character and her favourite scene from 5x01 is when Bree and Claire discussing Frank???????
That's a little bit far, don't you think? If she didn't, then there would be absolutely no chemistry between the two since day one. So of course Sam and Caitriona understand their characters' love story. Caitriona never said it was her "favorite" moment, she said it was a moment she really liked. I personally liked it two. Mentioning Frank revealed a few things: one, Brianna still very much loves her father and will never forget him. So the writers (and Sam and Caitriona too because they also produced this season!) wanted to show that for Brianna. And for Claire, she's still grateful to Frank for raising a child that wasn't his own, but loved her as his own nonetheless. Claire still most like carries a little and responsibility for what went down during those twenty years she was back in modern times. Just dig a little deeper to make sense of things. Not every moment of the show is intended to please the audience.
Goofy I have to laugh at so many different posts on this and other threads. Sam & Cait are "professionals actors" portraying "fictional characters", following a script & storyline. They are NOT Jamie & Claire no matter how we fans would have loved to see that in real life. The interviews over the years, how they interacted with each other, whether real or all PR work, is what sold the show, and in turn, made them famous. They are both fabulous actors!
@@virgoqueen8950 Thanks lol. Can't stand "fans" that assume ridiculous things about the actors because it suits their own insecurities or beliefs. Crazy.
I think she does and has for 5 seasons and deeply appreciates all the characters and is not obsesseed with any. Frank was the father who raised Bree and it was critical that he was not left out of her wedding day.
Why talk about frank. To again undermine Sam in his role as jaimie. Can't beat to watch these interviews anymore. Hostility in interviews and chemistry completely gone when together in screen. Maybe they should have ended it at culloden. Sad!!!
Interesting that you and others have said something like that. I don't think Sam the actor is at all bothered by Caitriona's mentioning of Frank. Why would Sam be upset? Jamie on the other hand of course is envious of Frank for having all those years with Brianna, but why should Sam care? It's not undermining Sam at all. It's recognizing that Frank was and will always be a part of Brianna's life; her heart is big enough for two fathers. This interview was very chill, and also it has been said elsewhere that Sam wasn't feel his best. In other interviews he's more relaxed and fun. I don't think the chemistry is gone. I think as the series has progressed, it's gotten way more serious and dangerous, because it's been over 20 years, and in terms of what's coming, i.e. American Revolution, the way that their marriage is portrayed cannot be the same as it was in the beginning. They still love each other, but it's different now. They're adults, parents, and grandparents! And don't forget, Caitriona and Sam helped produce this season, so they had say over stuff like this.
@@sw9618 there's no point trying to reason with these "fans", they have a weird obsession about Sam and Cait dating off screen and if they don't smile at each others for a second that means they want to kill each others apparently, these people can't seem to understand what acting is
@@sw9618 OH THEY LOST THEIR MINDS OVER THAT ...........I AM SO PROUD OF HER FOR GETTING MARRIED PRIVATELY. I LOVED the first episode of season 5 and can already see it will be an amazing season
Jamie was so touching with the something Blue, borrowed.....
Not one of them mentioned Jamie putting his kilt on for the first time in years!?!?!?!? I'm disappointed.
they talked about that in another interview forget which one though..
Was a very good episode..... thought Jamie getting his Scot on was powerful!

Sam can't look straight to Cait. Ohhh. love them!
Jocasta is my favorite character on TV.
LOve her.

Is it just me or do Sam and Catriona seem less silly and “flirty” (probably bc Catriona just got married)?
Also, finding Cait increasingly critical of Sam ... sadly. Not impressed ...
Exactly what I wondered and thought lol.
I agree since she got married they distanced together
Unfortunately, not so fun to watch their interviews anymore 😔 but on the brighter side, we still have the old interviews 😄

💜 Thanks for this!
love it, it was great episode
I agree with both of them. Maria is amazing!!
Will you be releasing your interviews of episodes 5 & 6 soon with the Outlander cast?
Love they show 😍
The chemistry between sam and cait have gone, so sad they use to look so happy and silly together.
I think sam is just going through a lot right now with his health and legal issues.. I don't think its them 2 having issues
Plus there was also an issue with a mean fan of some sort and catriona helping him through during the pandemic

Does anyone know the name of that song that played in the episode? I thought it was really nice
Do you mean in the "love montage"? That's l-o-v-e by nat king cole :)
Jane Caro no, I was talking about the one in Gaelic but thank you. I found it though, it’s called Moch Sa Mhadainn
I love Sophie and Richard together, people really thought they were together. Their chemistry is amazing
You got to be kidding me????You really mean that?
No.
Yes. I love them. 😍
I feel awkward and weird watching Cait speak and not hear her British accent😂
subtitulos en español???
Learn english
Sophie and Richard are soooo cute
En español por favor si no no lo veremos
Estranho ver os dois conversando sem a mesma cumplicidade da série..Não gosto de assistir
