I've been thinking about a bamboo-themed aquarium for a long time, and now I've finally made it happen. I wanted to achieve a natural look, so I kept it simple. The building process had its challenges, but it was worth it. I planted easy-to-maintain plants and two pond plants. It has become home to a large group of neon tetras and a few corydoras. I also had the chance to test a super smart lamp that creates a beautiful sunlight effect in the aquarium. What do you think of it?
Great idea to hide filter tubes in bamboo tubes. Why filter manufacturers don't produce aesthetically pleasing internal filters and pipework for externals is interesting. Even top brands sometimes stick bits of grey, green or blue plastic trim on to bits of kit designed to be put in the tank, even if they just stuck to black plastic that at least can be blended out of sight with a black background, but blue on black or grey on green is a challenge. I can find green plants, black backgrounds and even red plants but in a freshwater tank I am pushed to disguise a blue or grey mix and match of plastic, maybe they think we all have divers, pirate ships and plastic sharks in our tanks. I was thinking of adding some green plastic frogs and yellow ducks to my tank to complement some of my equipment, after all, you do get waterbirds and frogs in the tropics! Great job as always. Though I spotted a cherry barb amongst all those neon tetras, but then nobody is perfect, though your work comes very, very close.
Stunning 🤩 some hardware store bamboo may be treated with chemicals (ranging from boron to copper to arsenic depending on where you are), so if you’re thinking about replicating the idea , I’d keep an eye on that :) looks fantastic
I would like to ask if bamboo can be soaked in water and its roots may rot? Will dry bamboo grow mold if soaked in water? The water tank is so beautiful😊😊, but I’m really looking forward to knowing the result of immersing the bamboo in water😊😊, I hope there will be a next episode😊😊😊
I like the thought process, deceptively simple and extremely effective. I like the idea of pond plants in an aquarium as they can break into the empty space above the tank
Very beautiful!! Please give us an update in a couple months on the dried bamboo. I really want to do something similar but am anxious how to care for it to prevent molding and rot issues...
Looks great... I'd caution anyone trying this type of build, I've used bamboo in several of my aquascapes and sometimes it grows this sludge on it. I've had better luck using bamboo that's been dried/hardened by fire, but that costs more. But when gathering bamboo from outside (in Florida) it's generally caused massive issues with the water parameters.
I was wondering about that. I have live bamboo in some tanks but never tried dried because I know my bamboo patio furniture cannot take moist environments.
another beautiful tank. if the black water dosing is included that would be nice. what kind of light is at the back of the tank to create the bright spot?
Great concept, great idea ! I wish these hanging lights were affordable thought. Where do you get your metal beams from to hang the lights ? I'm struggling to find anything like that 😩
I really really love this tank, but why not stick to Asian fish, fitting for the theme of the tank? some Sundadanio axelrodi for example, if you wanted something "neon-tetra-like".

beautiful. love it. I would add some cherry shrimps. but thats just me.
This is excellent. Absolutely love it👍
Wish this was sparkling gouramis, emerald eyed rasporas & glass catfish.... J/S
I love it will have to copy it😂
Excellent. Love it
U had the chance to put corydoras panda in this tank😮😮
He can still do it, cinescaper do it!
I agree do it
Yeah panda corydoras will match the theme very perfectly
YES
yes, do it!!!
The soundtrack of this video is as awesome as the scape! Good work!
Idk what's more impressive - the tank or the video. Brilliant!

I'm really happy to see you'r vidéo again ❤️
I really like this composition! Great choice of fish, too 👍
Wonderful light effects from the lamps and lightly blackwater ❤️
Stunning bamboo aquascape

Yes your doubt is correct...
From what I've been reading the leaves rot and become toxic to the fish. I would also assume the mold risk is pretty high
I like the thought process, deceptively simple and extremely effective. I like the idea of pond plants in an aquarium as they can break into the empty space above the tank
Thanks🙌
please set another shallow tank like THE LOG, Your shallow tanks are stunning....😇
This turned out so pretty
This is beautiful and inspiring. Thank you 🙏🏾
just as I thought. Tannins from the bamboo turning the water yellow. Anyways, tetras will enjoy it. reminds them of home in rio playa
Another beautiful aquascape! Thanks for sharing :D
Absolutely stunning!
Thanks!
Used a flute background music for a bamboo scape. Clever 👌
Beautiful and creative. Deceptively simple.

Stunning
Best one yet!

Gorgeous!
He made another masterpiece 😮❤
Really beautiful 😍
Wow, it's stunning, as usual! 🤩
The best aquascape youtuber right now!! ❤❤
Thanks mate! Your light is awesome! ;)
One of my favorite tanks!
Very beautiful!! I love bamboo!
Thanks!🙌
Absolutely beautiful 🤩
Its so beautiful.. 🥺🥺
J'adore cette décoration tout en simplicité et naturelle c'est magnifique

love how you used a bamboo chopping board to lay out your plants before planting
It's a very Asian looking tank with the bamboo. I'd have done rice fish or rasboras and maybe some loaches or panda garras instead of the corys.
Nice 👍
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Very nice 👍
it seems simple but simplicity is hard to achieve so very good job 👍
decoration✔
durability ❌
but skill 💯💞☺
So satisfied 😌 🤗 ❤
interesting - as usual the paw from Poland comes👍👍
🙌
Muhteşem 👏👏👏
Loved it 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
This is very beautiful ❤️😊
Very nice sharing my friend, regards
Thank you! Cheers!
@TheCineScaper Best regards
Very beautiful!
Thanks!
You are a genius!
There’s one where he put in the extra effort of adding VO, and a year later it’s still my favorite.
Thanks for this scape :)
Amazing setup. It's beautiful. 👏How do you deal with fast growing bamboo?
very cool design! I got a question though. Will the leafy bamboo's leaves dry out over time?
I’m also curious about that…and if the pond -lane will survive in sand vs the mud it was pulled out from
Of course they'll dry off. Will contribute to the aesthetics for quite some time.
Amazing work man😍🔥
Thanks 🔥
What specific care needs to be taken for preventing bamboo from getting rotten due to contact with water.
Very nice setup ❤
I can’t speak😍🔥
beautiful, great job!!! how you control algae?
love from India bro
just wondering if umbrella plant stem will not rot over time which is under the water?
Great video as usual. Hope to see other materials in the next one - not a bamboo fan.
Very nice. 👍
Quando o bambu apodrecer na água você desmonta o aquários? Pergunto pois você colocou com silicone no vidro.
Great concept, great idea ! I wish these hanging lights were affordable thought. Where do you get your metal beams from to hang the lights ? I'm struggling to find anything like that 😩
Love you brother
Wooooow 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Cara, ficou muito bom! Parabéns!
oh wow, nice :) you could also call it a paludarium
Love u bro.... U make my day❤
Bellissimo! 👌
It is looking great just winding the filter pipe with coconut rope will lokks better
Thanks, great idea!
Its nice
My only concern would be the store bought bamboo being treated. Looks beautiful
Topnotch. Is z bamboo that is making z water yellow? Thanks
The alder cone gives the water its color.
Yes!!This time he used silicon glue on bottom glass. Prior to this he used superglue and it got me confused;what if we decide to rescape.
- 7:13 One of your little plants floated to the top.
I have bamboo growing in my yard. I didn’t realize I could use it in my tanks.
Can this kind of tank last long?
I really really love this tank, but why not stick to Asian fish, fitting for the theme of the tank? some Sundadanio axelrodi for example, if you wanted something "neon-tetra-like".
is that a custom or store bought tank?
cool
Put Panda Garra, Panda Corydoras and Panda Loaches in this tank!
Love your creativity❤ but anubias should stick with rock or some sorts of wood
How long do the bamboo can last long in water
I don’t know exactly. When the bamboo starts to decay, I'll build a new aquarium. Until then, I’m enjoying it :)
Aquascap memiliki aura hidup di dalam akuarium
❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Linda demais parabens
I love the scape I want to replicate it I don’t w how but I will find a way 😊
Is no one going to mention the singular cherry barb? (and the spotted cory which is a different species to the rest, maybe Sterbai?)
Yes, cherry barb. It got mixed in with the others by accident.
Zero nutrifying substrates and hardware store scapes, new bee.
link for lights please
What’s the cherry barb doing there
It got mixed in with the others by accident.😅
Bro U said that u gona show a chevy trunk long term review
👍👌
🙌
If you put a paper band around the area you wanted to drill, probably the wood wouldn't crack much.
Thanks for the tip!
