I'm absolutely loving this pack, the number of updates coming out still whilst sometimes causing orbital headaches always add amazing bodies and vistas. One of my fave packs along with the original OPM

A fellow called The White Guardian made a video on how to make a basic planet. You can see that on his channel. There are also numerous Kopernicus threads on the forum. As for me, I don't really find tutorials very fun to do, sorry :P
Ali_Army107 I don't think the mod is 100% career ready yet. The biomes are in early development, so there are only 3 per planet. low, med and high terrain altitudes. If Kottabos was to do a series using the mod I would advise him to wait a bit longer :)
Gameslinx there's a glitch, once it loads everything there's another black loading screen and I left my pc for almost a day for it to fully load and still nothing. Fix plz cause I was really looking forward to playing it

Niebos and it's moon Niebietos look sick and awesome. Defo my favs! Questions tho: 1. How well do you feel are they integrated into the Kerbol system? Not cluttering up, etc? 2. Do they have support for natural resources (minerals) and other resource excavation mods?
unfortunately when I installed it, I was Terrified. Mun and minmus have now large scars. Some of the planets in the video are added and some moons like olei and olemut. But with Kerbin replaced as Gaia it terrified me...
Why so many bodies in planet packs have such extreme orbital inclinations? I understand one or two - to provide challenge, diversity and difficulty. But when half or more of the obiects have ridiculous orbits, things start to get awkward.
Frik Na luzie Olei and Olemut are in polar orbits only because it's easy to get to them, you just need to launch in a different direction. 2 moons have extreme inclinations because they're easy to get to and from after landing on the planet. I use the mod in Career mode so I adjust orbits to what people will hopefully like the most :)
Gameslinx, i have a problem. I've installed the mod CORRECTLY, tried it in 64-bit but everytime i start KSP when the load bar is full, it freezes. Did i do anything wrong?
I get the feeling that the mod author isn't overly familiar with the details of a lot of real planetary science (either that or they just wanted to make a mod that's not particularly realistic), but it's still an incredibly well-made mod with good aesthetics.
Jane I think I'm reasonably familiar with it. The descriptions for some planets are temporary (and you've reminded me to update them) and unrealistic. I'll do a brush-over today and correct some stuff that's not possible heheh :)

I mean- I like the Idea of more planets to the Kerbol system... just... I don't feel like those orbits and habitability of the planets don't really fit... I mean- I'd understand an habitable planet around an gas giant duo to tidleforces making that possible, but the rest is more a mystery to me tbh. Yes yes- "don't think a game is supposed to be realistic."... but isn't KSP supposed to be a half-way realistic game?
koplerio What would you suggest I do to the habitable planets to make them more realistic? The current habitable planets are Niebos, Sonus and Telos. Volux, Fume, Butai and Scorch are not. I think Niebos and Sonus are both in Kerbol's habitable zone, however Telos around Olu'um isn't. I could add some lore (the reaction of Olu'um's accretion disk with Telos's atmosphere produces heat?). I'd love to hear more. Drop your suggestions on the forum post and i will respond asap
Ryan Roberson Olemut. The planet it orbits is Olei, and for every moon I keep the prefix the same to avoid confusion: Telos, TELOSlate. Olei, OLEmut. Dres, DREad. Sonus, SOjos. Niebos, NIEBietos. I didn't have omelette in mind when naming that moon but hey :) why not
I'm making a planet pack called the Gemini planet pack and need someone to test everything for me. I need all science data types from every planet/celestial body, terrain observations (Glitches, spikes etc.), lighting issues, ore scans, visual errors (Making sure everything stays on orbit, all planets are visible, etc.) and it is possible to reach the different planets/celestial objects. I need video proof of all this, too. If this is done successfully, I will provide a celestial object named after you (You can also tell me what you want the planet/star to be like, and what moons it has (it can have a maximum of 3)). This will be ready in one day to one week (delays/issues are very probable).
OfficialPeeper it's gonna take a while to do that. The best thing is to just release it and patch the bugs as people submit them. If there's a serious bug, release a patch straight away. if it's a minor bug, release it with the next update. the players are your testers!
Create a config called 'Resources.cfg' Add this and tweak them for each planet: - All values are from 0 to 100. ResourceType is: 0 = crustal 1 = Oceanic 2 = Atmospheric 3 = Interplanetary PLANETARY_RESOURCE { ResourceName = Ore ResourceType = 0 PlanetName = Distribution { PresenceChance = 50 MinAbundance = 0 MaxAbundance = 100 Variance = 80 Dispersal = 80 } }

Have you ever considered reviewing the Jungis planet pack? It adds a gas giant just beyond Jool with 11 moons.
5:55 means less like Kerbin's Mun and more like Earth's Moon.
