we only have one plum tree in the woods, all split in half and broken down and fallen over [there was a house there a long time ago], but still blossoming, sending up little thin branches of flowers... and five or six seedlings that are spreading out from it and starting to blossom too so I guess it is the start of a little plum grove... I go check it every year, so beautiful in the winter-looking forest
