I've been in Beatty about 4 or 5 times. I'm from Ohio and we have stayed there when visiting Death Valley. The first time we stayed, years ago, was at the long-gone Burro. We've stayed at the Stagecoach a couple of times and once or twice at the El Portal. There isn't a lot to do in Beatty other than gamble. There is the nearby ghost town of Rhyolite which is a curiosity. Of course, Death Valley is about 15 minutes away.
I was very fortunate to have spent several years traveling on business through Pahrump, Beatty , Tonopah and Hawthorne. very interesting towns. Stayed in all of them.
I have covered some of each of those town except for Hawthorne. I need to get up there and check out some of the sites. Thanks for the comment and watching.
@@NevadaJack You bet! Thanks for content! Round Mountain is a unique community in the Nevada Outback as well. Not much for amenities but interesting history.
Thank you for your view and comment. You're correct about the businesses you mentioned in Beatty. It's interesting to learn about these connections between local establishments.
Time can certainly bring about change, and the graffiti on the plane is evidence of that. It's interesting to see how public spaces can take on new meanings over time. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Donkeys have right-of-way. Yes they do!
The story of that plane is pretty incredible!
Thanks for checking this out!
Love those old Desert Town's Jack! Thanks for the video!!!
That's my hometown! Spent the first 18 years of my life there. Lot's of cool gems all around in those hills.
Hopefully it brought back good memories. Thanks for watching and the comment.

Rhyolite is definitely a gem to check out. Beatty is a good step off point for death valley visitors. Thanks for watching.
Fun video!
It was a fun cold and rainy video shoot. Thanks as always for watching.
1st to comment. I lived in Pahrump from October 2008 thru March 2013. I never wet to Beatty. I live off grid in Western North Carolina now.
I lived there for 3 years graduated high school there. So much has changed
Thanks for sharing your experience. Times certainly do bring changes.

Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Death Valley Inn, Exchange Club, Motel 6, Stagecoach Hotel, Eddie World, and DV Nut & Candy are all owned by the same person.

What a shame! That plane had no graffiti 25 years ago.

There is nothing in that krap hole town lol
True, Beatty's a quiet town, but it's a cozy pit stop for Death Valley explorers. Glad you checked out the video!
